That 1.4F also has not been evenly distributed across the planet, the Northern Hemisphere has risen much more. Teach when the world’s largest accounting firm takes notice AND when the Commander of all American Forces in the Pacific says that climate change is a problem, you know, maybe there really is.

He has cliamed in the past that the only voices that should matter in the climate discusdion ate that of climate scientists.
Now, faced with a report from UN climate scientists that there has not been an increase in temperature in 16 years, john resorts to making an admiral an expert.
John fails to even acknowledge the admiral met with people who believe in AGW, but did not hear other scientific views to the contrary.
It is sad that a member of the US military could be taken in by this hogwash.

G man he is not just an Admiral he is Commander of All US Forces in the Pacific And climate change is is not just what HE believes THE WHOLE NAVY BELIEVES. I am sure that he has heard and disregarded the views of the 2% of climatologists who deny climate change. John, he is just an admiral. That is his rank. He is not the highest rank on the Navy.
The bottom line is that this guy went into a closed door meeting with leftists and people who believe in AGW without opposing views being presented.
That is fundamentally dishonest, but honesty has not been the strong point of those who believe as you do on this issue.
What is even worse is that with N. Korea threatening a nuclear exchange, and the Chinese making aggressive military moves, this admiral now believes the most pressing issue is an issue that the entire world does not rank in the top ten major issues and concerns.
The fact of the matter is that this admiral’s opinion carries no more weight in this discussion than a kid fresh out of the Naval Academy or an E1 recruit. (As for your assertion that the entire Navy belives in climate change as you define it, that is news to the Navy climatologist that lives in my area. )
Finally, you don’t get to play the “hate the military” card when Obama – the guy you support worship – has cut military pay, benefits, health care, tuition assistance, etc.
