…is an ocean that will rise up so we need to give lots of money to unions that vote D to build walls, you might just be a Warmist

Which is funny because people who claim to be D and for jobs, hate walls. Particularly ones on our southern border.
That pic reminds me of the time I went panga fishing in Baja. Nice time, but I didn’t catch anything like THAT.

You went fishing for a breading coating?
That “wall” on our southern border is just about complete, but it doesn’t do much to stop anyone People just climb over it or dig under it. That wall is just supposed to make some Americans feel good about “border security”
Unions? since the American labor movement has been reduced Americans have seen their real wages drop, while American corporations have posted record profits and record high stock prices. Now for capital;its that is all to the good, but for workers (or those looking for work) the situation isn’t so good. Is it ? Of course the best way for a business to decrease their tax liability is to reinvest those profits in assets, infrastructure, or human resources. American businesses are doing very very well under Obama
The border fence is not complete john and besides, the Obama administation has underfunded the border patrol to man that fence.
But john fails to put two of his favorite positions together. Immigration laws have failed to stop people from entering the country illegally. More laws have failed to stop illegal immigrants as well. That real world example disputes your assertion that more gun laws will lower gun crime. More gun restrictions won’t prevent criminals from using guns against law abiding citizens. It is only when laws are accpmpanied by enforcement that people are safer with less crime.
As for john’s assertion on unions and “real wages,” he fails to note that “right to work” states have higher wages and higher “real wages” when compared to the same positions in union only states.
We’ve beaten down john’s contention on corporate profits before as well. Accounting for inflation, stocks are at a lower level than 1960. Furthermore, stocks are not an indicator of the strength of the overall economy. Lastly, as a percentage of investments and sales, company profits are at an all time low.
As usual, john swings and misses as reality doesn’t match his view of the world.
