You know, the kind of “climate change” which has seen a tiny uptick of .08C since 1990
Climate change leaves Chicago area in deep water
It wasn’t a hurricane, but nearly five inches of rain fell in the Chicago area Thursday.
“This is a new kind of storm associated with climate change,†said Tom LaPorte, spokesman for the Chicago Department of Water Management. “It’s been around for five or six years. Other storms are rather local, but in this case the entire region got really walled.â€
Interesting that other storms are rather local, but not in Chicago! It’s “climate change”!!!!!!1!!!! Every weather event is now blamed on “climate change”, and, to be clear, they mean Man-induced climate change. All Chicago area Warmists should immediately give up their fossil fueled travel.
So, CAGW is droughts AND floods and more normal weather too?
Isn’t Chicago basically sitting on a dried out marsh?
5 inches?? Sheesh, we get that and more down here and we call that a good rain.
What is this guy smoking? A storm has been sitting on Chicago for 5-6 years and it only now dumped 5 inches of rain? If it has been there for 5 years, wouldn’t you at least prepare for some potential rain from it?
Seriously, can someone please decipher this acid-induced spewage? Not one portion of that sentence makes any kind of sense.
Am glad he is in charge of “water”. maybe he should be better put to work actually managing the natural fall of water from that 5-year storm instead of talking to the media.
