The totally independent from Obama (snicker) group Organizing For Action continues the Neverending Campaign
(UK Guardian) The campaign group formed to support Barack Obama’s political agenda has launched an initiative to shame members of Congress who deny the science behind climate change.
In an email to supporters on Thursday, Organizing for Action said it was time to call out members of Congress who deny the existence of climate change, saying they had blocked efforts to avoid its most catastrophic consequences.
The email linked to a video mocking Republicans who reject the science on climate change. “Right now, way too many lawmakers in Washington flat-out refuse to face the facts when it comes to climate change,” Jon Carson, executive director of Organizing for Action wrote in the email. “We’re never going to make real progress on this issue unless members of Congress get serious.”
I’ll write it again: if you are referring to it as “climate change” you aren’t interested in science, but, rather, in politics and social issues. It’s an imprecise and non-scientific term designed to allow the adherents to blame virtually everything on Mankind in any way they want, and to also blame cooling, snow, cold winters and plateau periods on man induced warming.
Surprisingly, the video fails to attack Obama for being a massive climahypocrite, what with all his fossil fueled flights around the country (especially for vacations), for his fossil fueled vehicles, for keeping the White House well about what Warmists think is the proper heating temperature, prolificate waste of food, not buying local, and so on.
Lord Christopher Monckton defends the GOP folks in the video as truthsayers. Marc Morano provides lots of rebuttals to OFA, and makes absolutely no distinction between the supposedly independent OFA and Obama himself. Because there is none except on paper. Twitchy offers up some derisive Tweets back to OFA. And OFA forgot to bring facts
@barackobama Right, because a .14F increase since 1997 and. 28F increase in global temps is super scary! #RealData

Wait.. when did we get a president?
Well, that’s what the rumors say.
This is right out of Saul Alinsky’s book “Rules for Radicals.”
Mocking the opposition means you don’t have to deal with facts.
