What would a coldist see? Someone like Rev Pat robertson?
After that Sandy rainstorm many people across began to change their view and believe in climate change. Do you think that will happen after this tornado? Do you expect still more Republicans to change their view ? Do you think people who correlate extreme weather events and climate change?
Dear john,
Thank you for your questions on how people will view weather events. We suspect that rational people will view them in context.
As your position is that these events will increase, please provide data on the exact number of tornadoes by years in the affected areas for the last 2000 years or so. As you have always maintained that individual events are not a determination of long term climate change (much less climate change caused by man) we need to look back at least that long.
We all await your response.
Interestingly, large tornado numbers seem to rise during cooler times, while there fewer during warming.
And, really, they just happen.
Thanks for the link.
