This isn’t exactly new, NASA pimped it in September, 2013, but hardcore progressive/Warmist site RYOT is pimping this as “terrifying“. Oh, and just happens to want you to donate to the National Resources Defense Council.
I had to make it a bit small to fit on the page. The left shows if CO2 reaches 550ppm by 2100, the right is 800ppm by 2100. Gotta love the utter doom and gloom.
There are a few more GIFs at RYOT, and a video at the NASA site. Would it surprise you that this is all based on computer models? The same models that failed to predict the pause. The same ones that failed to predict this bitterly cold winter. The same models that failed to predict cold winters in Europe, the Middle East, and other parts of the world 5 out of the last 6 winters.
Hmm. The image on the right might be cause for concern, but possibly for joy instead. Is it saying that all of those states and much of Canada will become red states? Or is it saying the communists will take over all of those states? I’m ok with one. Not the other.
You should correct your inflammatory headline since it is false.

Their graphic shows that the Earth continue to warm as the CO2 level increases.

Let’s start with the word “pimp.”

The graph is based upon conclusions from the IPCC report, a report that is used by alarmists as a source for funding. MASA certainly wants money for the continued funding of “climate change” so using the faulty IPCC report is most certainly “pimping.”
So sorry, but Jeffery is wrong again. Poor Jeffery. It is so hard to when he assumes to be smarter than everyone else and just gets exposed more than a flasher in a red light district.
(Ya also got to love it when a person like Jeffery, who has demonstrated an inability to read, tries to tell someone else what a headline on a post on that person’s blog should be. He can tell others what they should say, but won’t take responsibility for what he says.)
Oh, and by the way Jeffery, Al Gore and you are still hypocrites in the AGW debate and your unwillingness of you, Gore and people of your ilk to change your lifestyle shows that your talk about AGW is bluster and that you don’t actually believe what you type.

I have to say that Jeff made me look into some of these matters. The CO2 stuff is clearly a hoax. But there could be real science in the fact that the earth is closer to the sun. I found a number of articles that reference that situation and their models actually reproduce what we are seeing first hand. In fact, the orbit of the earth (jeff, the earth does orbit the sun, as a lefty you probably aren’t aware of that) has been changing and we are at the limit of habitation. What to do about it?
