Sorta Blogless Sunday Pinup

Happy Sunday! Another gorgeous day in the Once And Future Nation of America. The Sun is shining, the birds are chirping, there’s a wee nip of fall in the air. Not sure who did this pinup, which has, of course, a bit of an addition.

What is happening in Ye Olde Blogosphere? The Fine 15

  1. Right Wing News notes Putin threatening to invade several European nations
  2. Legal Insurrection notes that many Democrats aren’t sure who this Obama character is
  3. The Lonely Conservative covers Obama using more dictatorial, er, executive actions on Hotcoldwetdry
  4. Raised On Hoecakes wonders about the State controlling your labor
  5. Rhymes With Right notes Harry Reid protecting rapists
  6. The Daley Gator isn’t very impressed by pink shoes Abortion Barbie
  7. The First Street Journal has something that would be worse if it is the truth vs a lie
  8. The Jawa Report notes that math is not only racist, but Un-Islamic
  9. The Last Tradition has an interesting statement by Clay Aiken on the stolen nude celeb pictures
  10. The Other McCain has more wackadoodlenees from the world of Radical Feminism
  11. The Hockey Schtick notes the actual sea rise measurement (I really should blog this, and I still might)
  12. No Tricks Zone covers how well (sic) German wind power is doing
  13. Wizbang covers a police captain suing over being suspended for refusing to attend a mosque service
  14. Moonbattery considers two consequences of mainstreaming homosexuality
  15. And last, but not least, Flopping Aces covers International Talk Like A Pirate Day (something I totally forgot about. Somehow got erased from my calendar)
  16. And one to grow on: The Camp Of The Saints wonders what to do with Leftists.

As always, the full set of pinups can be seen in the Patriotic Pinup category, or over at my Gallery page. While we are on pinups, since it is that time of year, have you gotten your “Pinups for Vets” calendar yet? And don’t forget to check out what I declare to be our War on Women Rule 5 and linky luv posts and things that interest me

Anyone else have a link or hotty-fest going on? Let me know so I can add you to the list. (BTW, since someone asked, the reason I leave links for the previous week up (or you might see a *) is because they are place holders for later in the day or for next weeks. Easier than rewriting all the time. Also, the listing order has to do with how they are added over time, not how good a post is. I just copy and paste from the previous week, then edit. If you see one of the *’s, go ahead and check out the blog anyhow, see if there is an update. I cannot update with my Android during the day.

IiThe pinup is almost certainly by Frahm.

  2. gitarcarver says:

    Thanks for the link Teach!

  3. That’s what I thought, Neon, but couldn’t find where he did this one. Can’t read signature, looks different from his others.

    Quite welcome, GC

  4. Once again I tip my hat to you for the linky-love. Congrats to your Pirates for solidly whipping the Tarheels 70-41 yesterday. I loved it!

According to this site: http://rooschristoph.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html the artist Art Frahm did a series called “Panties Up.”

Another artist by the name of Al Brulé contributed two more in the original style of Frahm – one of which seen above.

Also a site called “American Gallery” shows the artist as being Al Brulé

When you look at the signature on the picture, it seems to match up with “Brulé” because you can see the letter “B”, an extending letter (l) and then the accent mark.

The work seems to be called “Forced Landing.”

  6. Fritz says:

I have a version of it in a folder for Al Brule, too.

  7. Come Fly With Me’, indeed.

    Thank you, Admiral.

    Of course…

OK, it seems that Al Brule is the artist, but I’ll note that it is in the close style of Art Frahm. He certainly had a thing for the falling panties. http://www.lileks.com/institute/frahm/
