Yet, from 1979 until now, the RSS satellite dataset shows significant warming of 0.122 degree C/decade. That’s about 3.5 decades times 0.122 or 0.43 C warming total. In fact the “cool” 2014 (according to RSS) is just below the trend line since 1979!
The typical 30 year window (1985-2014) shows 0.133 C warming! In RSS.
Just taking the denialist tactic of just measuring the before and after – it’s 0.3 degree C warmer now than in 1979, at least according to RSS.
