Hillary Campaign Excited To Take Money From Lobbyists And PACs

Just 3 long, long days ago, when she met “voters” in Iowa

(UK Guardian) Clinton laid out four campaign planks: 1) revitalizing economy 2) supporting families 3) getting dirty $$ out of politics 4) defending against threats seen and unseen

Clinton said she would support a constitutional amendment to eliminate dark money from US politics.

Well, that’s for Other People, you know

(Huffington Post) Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign will accept donations from lobbyists and political action committees, a difference in policy from the man she’s hoping to replace, President Barack Obama.

Of course, putting the policy into practice was something completely different for Team Obama, which certainly took money from both, which even the Huff Post had to admit later in the article.

The Clinton campaign confirmed that there would be no prohibition on such donations, after The Huffington Post was tipped off by two lobbyists supportive of the former secretary of state’s run for the White House.

“Hillary Clinton has a long history of taking on tough fights against special interests, whether or not they’re donors to her campaigns,” said Jesse Ferguson, a spokesman for the campaign. “She strongly supports campaign finance reform and has voted for tough lobbying reform, but as long as Republican groups and candidates are going to spend millions attacking Hillary, we need the resources to fight back.”

Will Hillary require every PAC and lobbyist to publish who the donations came from, in order to stop that “dark money”? Ha! Made myself laugh.

And we all know that most Democrats/Liberals/Progressives will excuse Hillary when she takes “dark money”, just like they’ll excuse her for using tons of fossil fuels even as she (supposedly) campaigns against “climate change”.

Are you that dumb, or do you just play dumb to enrage your follower(s)?

You can advocate changing a system within a system.

Small government conservatives want less federal spending on roads, schools, unemployment payouts and healthcare, yet use roads, schools, unemployment and healthcare financed by federal funds.

Does that make them hypocrites? Not much.

How many conservatives want to cut federal spending but yet accept Social Security and Medicare payments – one of the largest federal expenditures?

Does that make them hypocrites? Not much.

Why not? Because it would be unfair to penalize just them for their beliefs. But they should and would be accepting of changes in Social Security and Medicare applied to EVERYONE.

Secretary Clinton should and would accept the laws if changed, applied to EVERYONE.

We get it. You hate Democrats, and anyone to the left of Limbaugh. You criticize them because you’d prefer any Repubicum in office so you could impose your ideas about society, on Other People, you know.

So even the ultra-liberal progressive communist Huffington Post is criticizing Secretary Clinton?

Is that more of the fawning press in Clinton’s corner?

William, seems you hit a nerve with the Hillary posts.

Yes Porter we will continue to encourage Hillary to play hard by obeying all the rules that both parties must play with
I would also expect the Dems yo continue to raise much more money from small donors than dies the GOP which gets more if it’s money from a few small mega donors
And expecting Hillary to stop using all fossil fuels is akin to expecting all of the GOP to immediately fly to the Mideast and begin fighting ISIS as volunteers
Any chance that either you or they may be doing that in the near future?

Jeffery amazing as it is I have to agree with much of your first post. But taking a poke at Hillery is just too enjoyable to pass up.

If you blood pressure needs a boost track down the article Tricky Dicky Hillary. If only the GOP had the guts to follow the suggestions in the article Hillery would be toast. Since most republications are really democrats and or cowards it will never happen.

Not if her past is any indication.
Recall she hired a criminal lawyer while serving as First Lady.

“Crony capitalism has defined Clinton’s career, from her tenure on the board of Walmart, to the Wall Street execs whom she surrounded herself with at the State Department, to her allegiance to Cisco, even as it violated principles on which she staked her tenure,” said David Segal, executive director of the Internet freedom advocacy group Demand Progress.
