Typically, when certain things happen the Cult Of Climastrology jumps in and blames climate change. Now, this morning, I searched the usual suspects, and Twitter, but found nada, in regards to the terrible attacks that occurred at a North Carolina beach Sunday, which followed another attack a few days ago. I should have searched using global warming instead (via Doug Powers @ThePowersThatBe)
@NBCNews @mitchellreports Global warming is changing the oceans to be more acidic & warmer waters near shore. More shark attacks likely

Sigh. I wonder if Dr Shelton realizes that Jaws is based on real attacks at the Jersey shore. In 1916. When CO2 was below the “safe level” of 350ppm.
Sorry Teach. That tie in yo NJ just isn’t there.
Not from Bencley’s book
Nor Spielberg’s movie
Teach every fisherman knows the Atlantic is warming and changing quickly
In your lifetime you would have seen NJ lobster harvest decrease by 75% mostly because lobsters do not as well in warmer water
Of course lobsters don’t live in Moncktons troposphere where some believe there has been no increase in temps
So johnny boy, are you saying that you know more than the Smithsonian?
And according to NOAA, the decline is based on overharvesting, not water temps.
Do you think you know more about lobster fishing in NJ than NOAA, john?
Snow is caused by global warming, rain is caused by global warming, heat is caused by global warming, cold is caused by global warming, earthquakes are caused by global warming, volcanoes are caused by global warming, shark attacks are caused by global warming, normal temperatures are caused by global warming, just plain everything is caused by global warming.
John-every see a current map for the North Atlantic? Currently much cooler than normal, though obviously that means nothing. How does “every fisherman know the Atlantic is warming and changing quickly?” Did you poll all of them? And quicker than…what? And if the water is warming, how do you what’s warming it? You don’t. It’s warmed before, right? Other than that, a very spot on post, John.
