And by Mogadishu, I mean Chicago. It used to be that Detroit was referred to as Mogadishu, due to all its shootings and murders and crime. I think it’s safe to move the title to Chicago

Hillary Clinton Calls Gun Control A ‘Civil-Rights Issue’ In Chicago Speech

Speaking in Chicago Monday, Hillary Clinton called gun control a “civil-rights issue” and slammed Donald Trump as “incoherent” and selfish.

Clinton, the likely Democratic presidential nominee, in delivering the keynote speech at a Rainbow PUSH convention luncheon, said, “I am convinced the tide is turning” on “common-sense” gun control.

“Things are so broken” in the political system, Clinton added, that it took a ’60s-style protest just to call for a congressional vote on gun control. The former U.S. secretary of state, U.S. senator and first lady went on to call it a “civil-rights issue.”

Clinton blamed the gun lobby for working to prevent legislative votes. “They know what I know,” she added. “The vast majority of the American people” support stricter gun laws.

The irony of Hillary giving this speech in Chicago, with its massive gun control rules, regs, and laws, is breathtaking

And that was just through yesterday, including the 4 killed, 11 shot in Chicago Monday. All this gun control is working wonders in Democratic Party run areas like Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, and California, among others, wouldn’t you say?

Of course, Hillary doesn’t worry, because she is surrounded by people carrying guns, including ones that are illegal to own by citizens.

    Of course she lied about the video. Up to the day of the Benghazi attacks, that YouTube video had been there for two and a half months. It had very few, less than 300, views and only TWO comments. Both of which were in English. AFTER the attacks and the video was blamed was when the views and the comments exploded. Most of which were in Arabic. The only result of blaming this video was all the riots and protests in the Mid East afterwards. The Obama administration and Clinton are directly responsible for that as well.

    Just as she is lying in her little speech in Chicago. Last week, there were four votes on the Senate floor for gun control. One of these was an amendment to Feinstein’s amendment. It didn’t change ONE word of Feinstein’s amendment but simply added civil rights and due process protections. Of course, this was promptly voted down by senate dems because of this. She wants to drone on about civil rights when it is obvious that her and her party care nothing about protecting them. But liberals still swallow and regurgitate these lies.

    What would be infinitely more productive would be asking this Administration and the Department of Justice in particular why prosecutions of current gun law violations have decreased under their watch.

    There are already broad categories of persons prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition and those lists go largely without prosecution.

    Now House Democrats are asking yet for another list of persons– this time without any due process rights– so this Administration can fail to enforce that list of laws too.

    How does that make us safer?

    Teach you DO realize that the total murders under Bush was greater, don’t you ?
    Do you think this reduction may be because of the stricter gun controls enacted ?

    Do you think that if more controls were put in place the total would continue to go down ?

    Now tell us what meaningful gun controls were enacted under Obama. You do realize that Obama has sold more guns than even Clinton. Also, Obama has gotten more service men killed than most any recent president. John, no one cares about Bush. Most conservative can’t stand him as at the end of the day he was a liberal. He was one of your guys. Also, the number of people killed in your little table is not statistically significant.
