    What do the Cons think of the budget bill with a one year $trillion deficit and funding for child health care, community health centers, opioid treatment, aid to Puerto Rico, FL and TX, defense spending AND importantly (and somewhat hidden), RAISING the debt limit!

    Must be a worrisome election year for Repubs, LOL. Irresponsible tax cuts, check; massive increase in discretionary spending, check; add to the debt at a time when the economy is doing well, check! Straight from the Reagan playbook!

    How will the GOP start working on the debt? The hint was from a Republick Congressman this AM: “Most of the overall spending is NON-DISCRETIONARY!” Pro Tip: that’s Social Security and Medicare. That’s where the real cuts can be made… but after November.

    Bend over American working classes, the GOP has a long, hard surprise for you! They’re lubing you up now with tiny tax cuts (for you – the elites got huge cuts) and some Federal spending, but they’re saving their best for later. It won’t be over quickly, you won’t enjoy it, but you can’t stop it either. The economic elites WILL enjoy it immensely, though. The assault started in 1980, but that was just foreplay compared to 2019.

    Here’s the deal. I’m a millionaire and my family (grown children and grandkids) will be just fine (we also own dozens of guns), unless the inept but tyrannical tRump and his goons decide to attack citizens who oppose him (we also own dozens of guns). Anyway, we hope you are also millionaires who don’t need to rely on Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, unemployment, clean air, clean water, a stable climate, pay raises, union protections, because the working classes, who been beaten up since 1980, will be forced to absorb even more punishment the next decade or so.
