Those are just a smattering of the Top Tweets. When you look through all of them, wow, it becomes a complete cesspool, blaming Trump, Republicans, Conservatives, Trump, haters, Islamophobes, etc. But, um, what’s this?
Breaking News: Cary FD: Fire at mosque not intentionally set #wral https://t.co/fB8PmrO0ea

In fact, a lot of the same outlets, mostly local, who were pimping hysteria about the cause of the fire without waiting for Facts had to turn around and run articles explaining what the Professionals found.
A day-long investigation has determined that the fire Friday morning at a Cary mosque under construction Friday morning was not intentionally set.
Fire Chief Mike Cooper told reporters in an evening update that investigators found that the fire started close to an electrical source and it was likely an accident.
Investigators examined an electrical box outside the mosque and paid close attention to the electrical lines leading into the building.
Investigators found no evidence of an accelerant in the mosque.
My initial thought was that this could have been a fake hate crime, something caused by a supporter trying to create an incident in order to push their views. We see these things again and again. However, no one, at least at this time, is continuing to push for an investigation, no one is trying to make a scene. But, what this does go to show is that the media and others shouldn’t run with stories that make “hate crime” claims without any evidence.
