Super Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hasn’t gotten the memo that she’s supposed to recommend a carbon tax, but she is good at aping the standard boilerplate doomsaying from the Cult of Climastrology
(Daily Caller) Democratic Congresswoman-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez used social media on Friday to call for the issue of climate change to be addressed “ASAP,†or “people are going to die.â€
“People are going to die if we don’t start addressing climate change ASAP,â€Â Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. “It’s not enough to think it’s ‘important.’ We must make it urgent. That’s why we need a Select Committee on a Green New Deal, & why fossil fuel-funded officials shouldn’t be writing climate change policy.â€

So, if we implement a carbon tax and take away people’s freedom and choice people won’t die anymore? Goodness! Of course, after 30 years of spreading awareness and trying to make it important, ‘climate change’ is typically last or near last on the list of issues that people care about. It is amusing that she wants a big committee to figure out ways to tax/fee you and remove your choice, eh?
As for the report, it’s completely unusual that a big Hotcoldwetdry report says that we’re all doomed, eh? No matter where you go, be it NY Times, Washington Post, ABC News, local news, international outlets, they’re all pimping the same doom. Because that’s what Warmists do. Not one outlet is noting that Humanity has done better than during cool periods, or that mankind has come further that any time in the past during the Modern Warm Period. Nor do the force the authors of said study to prove it. But, how do you prove a prognostication of future doom?
AOC is the perfect person to push this. She wants to take Other People’s wealth and spread it around, while refusing to give up her own fancy lifestyle which includes fossil fueled travel.
