The ACLU works to protect free speech in the US. Do you support them? I don’t know any progressive who wants to limit free speech, but I’ve heard of some who do. I disagree with them. Are there Repubs who question free speech, especially as related to a free press?
Obviously we do not have absolute freedom of speech. Our defamation protections are adequate. Obscenities can be legally restricted. And of course, falsely and maliciously shouting “FIRE!” in a crowded theater. Specific threats to hurt or kill people are not protected.
American rights are protected by our Constitution. Few other nations’ citizens are so protected.
But Americans are also not obligated to support or agree with or provide a vehicle for other’s speech. Teach can block commenters. For business reasons companies can fire employees whose legal conduct reflects badly on the organization. If an employee publicly declares the corporation CEO a fool in an interview, or says the company products are a rip-off, she can be fired. (We do have whistleblower laws to protect employees exposing lawbreaking).

In Arkansas, Former Democratic State Rep. Hudson Hallum, his father, and a few campaign workers altered ballots and were caught and arrested.
The Los Angeles County Registrar dismissed accusations of ballot miscounting in the 2018 election.
Keep in mind also that these are just a tiny portion of detected transgressions. How many more illegal acts have occurred that have gone unnoticed? After all,voting illegally is child’s play, with no checks and balances and a minimum of negative repercussions. Since Republican voters are almost always the victim and the Republican Party is without doubt the Stupid Party, this stomach-churning travesty will continue.

Not surprising, the discredited Kris Kobach is in the middle of this. By the way, this is perfectly legal in NH.
There is no evidence that even one of the same-day registrants (legal in NH, passed in 1996 by NH Republicans) voted illegally. College students in NH can use their out-of-state license as voting ID in NH. People who just moved to NH can legally use their out-of-state license as voting ID in NH. In addition, NH can trace the voters and see if they also voted out of state and prosecute them. I don’t know if they did this or not, do you?
Evidence for this Gish Gallop tidbit would be prosecutions. I don’t know if that’s happened or not, but I didn’t claim that over 5000 people voted illegally in NH, you and the discredited Kris Kobach did.
We know Republicans want fewer college students to vote, and stoking fears with false claims is one way they do it. They would love to tighten the NH laws to prevent college students from voting, as other states have done.
