New rules of engagement: Trump orders U.S. Navy to ‘destroy’ harassing Iranian gunboats
President Trump on Wednesday said he has authorized the U.S. Navy to “shoot down and destroy†Iranian gunboats if they harass American ships at sea.
His announcement comes one week after nearly a dozen of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps navy boats made several “dangerous and harassing approaches†to U.S. warships conducting joint operations with Army attack helicopters in international waters, U.S. military officials said.
“I have instructed the United States Navy to shoot down and destroy any and all Iranian gunboats if they harass our ships at sea,†Mr. Trump tweeted.
So far, the Usual Suspects haven’t quite gotten on board with taking Iran’s side, that will come soon. Right now we’re getting

They are willing to see 100’s of millions of deaths in order to gain power, and this time the power will be full blow communism cloaked in social DEMOCRACY.

Much of our problem with Iran is due to President Carter acting like a scared [insert slang term for the vagina here] during the hostage crisis. If he had simply said to Iran, “If you do not release all of our people, safe and unharmed, within three, we will sadly count them among the unfortunate American casualties in the strikes which turned Tehran and Qom into radioactive black holes in the ground,” and meant it, we wouldn’t have the mad mullahs constantly engaging in pinprick provocations.
The orders should be clear: if even one American sailor or Marine is killed on one of our ships due to Iranian stupidity, the entire Iranian navy will be sunk and its ports destroyed.
