Today is the day we’re supposed to pay homage to those Americans who died in battle for our country. I personally knew quite a few and was with many when that moment came. It wasn’t pretty but I can say that although we all aren’t heroes those men were certainly more heroic than the people they are calling “heroes” on TV today. Taxi drivers, trash collectors, highway repair men and grocery cashiers my be in the opinion of our betters “essential” but when companies and gov’t agencies refer to them as “heroes” so they come off as empathetic cheapens the word.
Nonetheless, I’ve know a few actual heroes personally. Two who won the Distinguished Service Cross and one Medal of Honor winner. None of them had a college degree proving Elwood correct in his frequent statement about how much smarter and better educated leftists are. I doubt there are many leftists in Arlington. They Are waaay too smart to fight let alone die for America. They’d rather sit home and second guess the President during a national crisis or try to impeach him because he dared to win an election. Why, they’re so fukin’ smart they herded the sick and elderly into homes to die alone and afraid. But what’s really smart is they have commie clowns like 50 cent running around trying to blame Trump for that.
They even try to diminish Memorial Day by giving half-assed “salutes to the troops”. Sorry you anti-American assholes that’s Veteran’s Day, not today. Today is reserved to your favorite Americans, the ones who loved this country enough to give their lives for it. Now you can make them vote Democommie in November. After all, to you leftists the best kind of Patriot is a dead one. I was in the 82nd Airborne and our motto is “All The Way!”. That’s what we did but many did not make it “all the way” home. Sadly, too many of you seem to have zero gratitude for what they did and what they gave up because Duty called them. You know who you are.
