Bed and breakfast Nordic Pineapple in Saint Johns has removed their Norwegian flag after dozens of people confuse it for the Confederate flag.
Greg and Kjersten Offbecker moved into the historic mansion two years ago and turned it into a bed and breakfast. As decoration, they hung a Norwegian flag next to the American flag at the front entrance of the inn, but dozens of guests and people driving by have accused the couple of flying a Confederate flag.
“They are the same color, but there are no stars on the Norwegian flag, and the Confederate flag is a big ‘x’ and the Norwegian flag is part of the Nordic countries, they’re all crosses,†Offbecker said.
Last week, the couple decided to remove the flag as they were updating their marketing materials.
Offbecker said she was trying to represent her heritage, but it’s not worth the frustration. She said they have received cruel emails and phone calls over the confusion of the flag.
“What we’re getting is so much more negative now,†she said. “It’s not just, ‘hey you’re flying the Confederate flag.’ It’s, ‘you should be ashamed to fly the Confederate flag. You’re a bigot because you fly the Confederate flag.‘â€
Some people are even convinced the home was built by Confederate leaders. In fact, it was built by union workers for the daughter of the Saint Johns founder.
Normally, I might wonder if they just made this kind of stuff up to get some free press for their business, like so many things are made up these days, but, you can really see this kind of thing happening during this era, right?
This is totally believable because many people are truly this ignorant, and those whose ignorance is permanent are just stupid. Remember the multiple flaps over the word “niggardly”? My favorite comes from the University of Wisconsin–Madison where a female student reported a prof for using the word. She said the professor continued to use the word even after she told him that she was offended. “I was in tears, shaking,” she told the faculty. “It’s not up to the rest of the class to decide whether my feelings are valid.” Maybe not, but the class can absolutely decide for themselves if you’re full of crap.
Also, here’s a bonus question: How long will it be before sports teams with animal mascots and/or team names come under fire? Surely some group of dunderheads somewhere must be offended by that.

True. For the literate, history is written by everyone. Just as one example, look at all the books in the libraries written by Southern civil war generals. Just look fast before the leftists burn them all. There are surviving histories written from all sides of the Napoleonic wars. Recently opened Russian archives have made a huge volume of histories (non-Soviet) available that had previously not been known to exist.
We really, really need to have a (hopefully) peaceful partition of this country. There is no way real Americans can live with this type of ignorance, bigotry, racism and hatred the left produces in such vast amounts. We need our own businesses, media, sports, schools and government to re-invent republicanism, capitalism and spiritualism. We need to build our families, churches and recreate the social contract which held America to a set of standards before the communists graduated college with degrees in bullshit and rampage.
For most of the history of our former country, Whites didn’t need to think or worry about the culture or the trajectory as they were the clear demographic majority and pretty much everyone just assumed it would always be this way. Then there was a scare in the early 20th century and so immigration was basically shut down for forty years. But the Marxist termites were gnawing at the foundation.
Fast forward to today and here we are – Whites are a bare majority and numerous coalitions are agitating against us on all sides. And still the bulk of our compatriots are doing their daily thing and acting like it’s 1955 and nothing is ever going to change, while the Marxist whites are now siding with and antagonizing blacks.
If the riots, the shutdowns, the economic and psychological destruction, the evermore strident anti-White animus by Democrats and the looming cluster fuk of an election (or maybe not) doesn’t wake the sheeple out of their stupor, God knows what will. The hour grows short. If you think America will continue as the American Republic we grew up with under the control of Marxist self hating God hating whites using blacks and browns as their paramilitary Gestapo you’re dreaming. None of those people are capable of running a free country or they would have done so before.

There is no reasonable partition possible. A great many of those ignorant people are the children of those “real Americans”. Even a patchwork partition by county, based on something as simple as political party, would result in huge minorities of each party inside “enemy territory. The divisions in America are ideological, not geographic. There is no “dividing the baby in half” solution. Each side must work diligently to ensure the least harmful party will govern the “baby”. In the history of the planet, no party has proven to govern as benignly over outsiders as the White, Christian, population of North America. We even allowed communists, atheists, hippies, Wiccans, and openly fraudulent groups like the Mormons and Scientologists to flourish here.

With Universal Mail-In Voting (not Absentee Voting, which is good), 2020 will be the most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election in history. It will be a great embarrassment to the USA. Delay the Election until people can properly, securely and safely vote???

The next person in line would be the Speaker of the House, but if there is no election, every House seat is vacant, and House seats can only be filled by special elections.
After that, the succession falls to the President pro tempore of the Senate, Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA). Since Mr Grassley’s term does not end in 2021, he would become the next President, but he’s 87 years old.
