Nashville bomber linked to ‘lizard people’ myth, investigators say
As investigators search for a possible motive behind the Christmas Day suicide bombing that rocked downtown Nashville, injuring three people and destroying several buildings, new details have emerged about the peculiar beliefs of the suspected bomber.
NBC News reported Wednesday that investigators have obtained evidence that Anthony Quinn Warner, who died in the explosion, may have subscribed to a conspiracy theory that many of the world’s most powerful figures, from Barack Obama to the late Bob Hope are actually evil, lizard-like extraterrestrials in disguise. Officials told NBC News that investigators, who have been questioning friends and acquaintances and searching for clues of a possible motive for the bombing, have become aware of statements Warner made about the lizard people conspiracy theory — though it wasn’t immediately clear what those statements were. Authorities also reported that Warner made statements to others about hunting possible aliens during previous camping trips he took in his RV.
The so-called lizard people conspiracy theory has taken a back seat to some of the newer and more widely publicized baseless beliefs that have come to dominate the conspiracy landscape in recent years. But in 2013, a survey conducted by Public Policy Polling found that 12 million Americans believed that the country was run by lizard people in suits.

The Christmas morning explosion took place outside an AT&T building in Nashville, knocking out 911 service and disrupting AT&T service across the state. AT&T is one of the American telecommunication companies involved in rolling out 5G, the latest standard for broadband cellular networks, which is expected to dramatically increase data transfer speeds. [Verizon, which owns Yahoo News, is also a provider of 5G technology.]

There are multiple concerns with modifying natural processes, e.g., insolation or something. Adding gigatons of CO2 to the atmosphere each year is not natural, so reducing it seems a safe bet or something. Intentionally blotting out the Sun seems to have some unknown unknowns or something.
We already know that aerosols added to the atmosphere reduce the amount of light energy to the Earth or something. Maybe burning MORE coal is the answer what with the particles emitted or something.
We also know the relatively small amount of CO2 added to the atmosphere by humans is yearly dwarfed exponentially by the emissions of termites worldwide.

Trees absorb CO2 converting it to wood. When tree dies termites (bacteria in the termite gut) and fungi speed up the oxidation process to release carbon. It’s a short term cycle. Over the lifespan of a tree this is a carbon neutral process so the net is zero.
Contrast that to pulling carbon that has been stored underground for hundreds of millions of years and adding that to the atmosphere. Trees do not sequester carbon for hundreds of millions of years.
Without carbon emissions from burning fossil fuels atmospheric CO2 would be stable.
Did you mean to imply that the carbon chewing activity of termites has nearly doubled over the past century?

Regarding atmospheric CO2, it’s been stable around 270 ppm for the Holocene until about a century and a half ago when it started a steady increase. It’s now about 415 ppm.
CO2 shot up from the burning of fossil fuels. Not from termites, volcanoes, human respiration, beer or the oceans, but from fossil fuels.
All those natural processes have been in balance for the past 10,000 years or so. The unnatural burning of fossil fuels knocked the carbon cycle out of equilibrium.
Oh I see you’re implying that atmospheric CO2 is unstable without actually defining the term.
