Teach is partly correct on beer. The energy used to grow and transport grains and hops, brew, package, distribute and store beer is likely generated from fossil fuels. On the other hand much of the CO2 in beer is fermentation of grain carbohydrate. Even global warming deniers recognize that the rapid conversion of plant source carbohydrates to CO2 doesn’t contribute to global warming.
What I see are some shoulder straps seeming maxed out on their support capacity.
