     The election was not stolen. If it had been someone, somewhere would have found credible evidence.

     We have not lost our country, although Surrender Don led a failed coup against democracy.

     We have not lost our wealth. Our well-being is under threat from an ongoing pandemic and a GOP not interested in governance. We also have a virulent strain of far-right wingers who oppose democracy, support white nationalism and belief in absurd conspiracies.

   A district court judge blocked the Texas “heartbeat” law.

   A district court judge issued a Temporary Restraining Order blocking Texas S.B. 8 abortion law on Wednesday, finding in favor of the U.S. Department of Justice, which had sought the order to block the law from going into effect.

   “A person’s right under the Constitution to choose to obtain an abortion prior to fetal viability is well established. Fully aware that depriving its citizens of this right by direct state action would be flagrantly unconstitutional, the State contrived an unprecedented and transparent statutory scheme to do just that,” U.S. District Judge Robert Pittman, of the Western District of Texas, Austin Division, wrote in a 113-page ruling.

   One book, New Kid by Jerry Craft, is accused of promoting Critical Race Theory.

   One of my grandsons bought New Kid at the school book fair and is halfway through. He says it’s very good.

Teaching black kids the white friend they “thought” they had is just a White supremacist oppressor and that all Whites are racists not just the democrats like we thought.

     What child was ever harmed by being taught morality? What child is harmed by being taught this country is a Great Nation founded on Freedom and Equality even though we have not always stood up to that ideal? Teaching America is the best country on earth may hurt your sensibilities Elwood but most Americans actually believe that. I believe your type calls them “terrorists” or “insurrectionists” now.

     Funny how it seems every other month you fascists come up with a new disparaging insult of the day to describe your opponents, excuse me I mean “enemies”.        The Bible isn’t banned. Prayer in school is not banned. The Koran is not banned.

       In Texas, books that explore race in America have been banned.

       America IS a great country but that doesn’t preclude discussions of our nation’s flaws.

     The distinguished Mr Dowd, who has defended the right of Twitter and Facebook, as private companies, to censor speech that didn’t like, and ban people they found objectionable, has said that:

     Now, what action was actually taken? Have those books been completely banned in the Lone Star State, cast out of Barnes & Noble and not allowed to be shipped in by Amazon, or downloaded to Kindles in the state? Or has the state said that public school libraries cannot carry them, leaving private companies perfectly free to sell them?

       Fine. Then the kids should be given the Turner Diaries, and every other White racist book out there in the name of “equity”. Also the Picture book of Abortion, and all graphic books on what happens to a baby at the moment of their murder. They should also be forced to study the Bible and other Christian books as a countermeasure to the filth and disease they’re taught now.

       People have the right to determine what goes into their bodies and into their children’s minds. In 1980 when the Dept of ED. was started America was rated #1 in children’s education. Today we are rated 17th. Any questions?

         …remember the school board official who attempted to arrange a doxxing and intimidation campaign against parents protesting against CRT –that was Beth Barts.

         By way of a Facebook group, Beth Barts has encouraged teachers to post the personal information of students’ parents who oppose the inclusion of Critical Race Theory in Loudoun County Public Schools curriculum. Barts has actively encouraged teachers to post the names, workplaces and home addresses of these parents. Barts has even gone as far to ask teachers to name the children involved, their schools, and to post photos of their parents to the group. This is clearly a direct call to action to target, harass, and intimidate parents simply for their opposition to the far-left, cynical curriculum Barts views as doctrine.

         But the concerned parents must have figured that Governor Blackface’s attorney would deliberately throw the case, and so they motioned for the judge to remove the Commonwealth’s attorney from the case and appoint an independent prosecutor.

         They also got themselves appointed as co-parties in the case.

         They succeeded in getting the prosecutor removed from the case, in favor of an independent prosecutor — presumably not just a liberal Democrat apparatchik appointed by Governor Blackface.

Tax records show the group raised more than $7 million in donations in 2017 and hired Fusion GPS — the same firm that produced the debunked Steele dossier for Hillary Clinton’s campaign — to pursue allegations of foreign interference in elections.
