   Our Democracy is under threat. That’s not an overreaction, it’s the truth. Republicans look like they’re playing checkers while Democrats look like they can’t even find the box containing the board games. It’s simple: Republicans don’t actually care about critical race theory or believe caravans are heading towards the border, but they do understand that nativism shrouded in grievance causes a visceral response that their voters care about. What the Republicans at the top of the party actually care about is cutting taxes for corporations and the donor class that makes up the top 1 percent. Culture war issues like abortion, immigration and racial division are just a means to an end.

   Failing to aggressively take on Republicans operating in bad faith and call out their corruption isn’t just political malpractice, it’s a moral failure. It’s perfectly fair to act like we’re in a fight worth winning.

   Why should voters keep showing up, keep investing their emotions, keep fighting the good fight, if they don’t feel that same fight coming from their leaders? Jan. 6 was an attempted coup. That’s not hyperbole, that’s an indisputable fact. Donald Trump attempted to override the will of the people.

   We are losing. Losing our ability to protect our democracy, losing our ability to protect civil rights, and losing our ability to protect what’s left of what makes us who we are. Democrats may be in power now, but without a drastic culture change, we won’t be for long.

   It’s time for Democrats to be as ruthless as Republicans. Kill the filibuster, enact voter reforms to eviscerate state level voter suppression. Punish the Manchin’s and Sinema’s for their fecklessness. Expand the Supreme Court to counter the perfidies of McConnell and the GOPs. There is no bipartisanship left. Republicans take no prisoners. It’s time for Democrats to stand up for America.

     “Republicans cutting taxes for the 1%..”. Always love when you guys talk economics, because usually the opposite is true.
     Let’s look at the Dems proposed tax bill and who it would favor the most. Shockingly (not), it’s the top 1%. J falls on his sword, again.

     There is nothing true in this statement at all.

     Caravans are in fact a reality headed this way. Unlike the OP of this piece who watches only his version of the MSM and does not see any reporting on it, therefore, he believes it does not exist and projects that on to the right who watch the film of it every night from Fox news, OANN, Newsmax and other international media sources.

     As for CRT: It might be the single most insidious threat to America since Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. The right is obsessed with ending this evil practice of teaching our children they are sick individuals. They understand that if you remove pushbacks then there is nothing left to fight against.

     Again the OP of this piece does not take the time to really comprehend his political enemies but simply makes assumptions based upon incomplete and inaccurate reporting by the MSM in the USA. There are dozens of news outlets around the world reporting on CRT in their own countries and movements to stop those as well.

     The Virginia Department of Education’s website features a presentation urging teachers to “embrace critical race theory,” This is simply posted on their website. It’s not a right-wing conspiracy. The VA education department tells teachers to embrace it and by default teach it.

     This is the funniest part of his thought: but they do understand that nativism shrouded in grievance causes a visceral response that their voters care about.

     In other words, do exactly to the Left what the Left is doing to the right and that is wrong. It would be funny if I didn’t actually believe that the OP of this article believes his side is the truth and nothing but the truth while combating the evil of lies, and fear-mongering by the right about millions of illegals flooding into our country and teachers teaching CRT in schools which destroys every child (not just white children) but every child’s life and turns them angry.

     This is a Cultural Revolution. This is what Mao used in China which ultimately killed almost 100 million Chinese and allows them to have concentration camps filled with Muslims in which they harvest their organs and hair and make them do forced labor.

     Oh make no mistake. The right believes 100 percent in those imaginary caravans, Imaginary CRT, and Imaginary threats by China. It is just the corporate media owned by corporations that make so much money off of China that refuses to go there. The left has become whores for Billionaires, Big Tech, Big Pharma, Big businesses, and Corporations. The first giant leap in turning to authoritarian fascism.

   Some 400 prisoners are being moved out of the jail after the “deplorable” conditions were uncovered. According to CNN, the Marshals’ report found that water was being shutoff in many cells “for punitive reasons” for days at a time, toilets were clogged, and an inmate who had been pepper-sprayed was “unable to wash the spray off for days, leading to an infection.”

   The D.C. Department of Corrections staff were “antagonizing detainees” and “directing detainees to not cooperate with” U.S. Marshals during the inspection, the agency said, and “[o]ne DOC staffer was observed telling a detainee to ‘stop snitching.’”

     But wait, I thought the Trump tax bill was solely to cut taxes on the 1%, now you’re telling us it was to raise taxes on the 1%?
     Can’t have it both ways. Irregardless, the Dems proposed tax package benefits the top 1% the most, as said.

   FBI recordings of a couple of boogaloo boys (members of The Base):

   Patrik Mathews, a former Canadian Army reservist illegally in the U.S., and Brian Lemley, a Maryland resident and self-described white nationalist, fantasized about the brutal murders they’d soon carry out against law enforcement and Black people, all with the goal of bringing about the “Boogaloo,” or the collapse of the U.S. government in order to prop up a white ethno-state, according to recordings of the pair’s discussions.

   “We need to go back to the days of … decimating Blacks and getting rid of them where they stand,” Mathews said in one recording. “If you see a bunch of Blacks sitting on some corner you f***ing shoot them.”

   “I need to claim my first victim,” Lemley said in another recording. “It’s just that we can’t live with ourselves if we don’t get somebody’s blood on our hands.”

   “You wanna create f***ing some instability while the Virginia situation is happening, make other things happen,” Mathews said. “Derail some rail lines … shut down the highways … shut down the rest of the roads … kick off the economic collapse of the U.S. within a week after the [Boogaloo] starts.”

   “I mean, even if we don’t win, I would still be satisfied with a defeat of the system … and whatever was to come in its place would be preferable than what there is now,” Lemley said. “And if it’s not us, then you know what, we still did what we had to do.”

   The two men were each sentenced in late October to nine years in prison, and ABC News has now obtained newly released audio from the FBI’s secret recording of Mathews and Lemley at their Delaware residence in late 2019.
