    Erica Elaniak’s father was an American, of Ukrainian descent, but as far as I can tell, she never set foot there.

    Voters of GA-14 and CO-3 must be so proud!! Anti-trumper, but conservative Republican Marina Zimmerman is opposing Boebert in the Republicun CO-3 primary.

    In GA-14, 20 yr Army veteran Marcus Flowers has raised millions in campaign cash, wears a cowboy hat and is a Black man wholikes country music. With a high turnout in 2022, he has a chance, since hte belligerent publicity hound and QAnoner Greene is a Representatrix in name only, being kicked off most committees for her outrageous statements and actions. The people of GA don’t see many achievements.

    We thought Missouri Republican legislatures were the stupidest, but no. From Kentucky:

    State Rep. Danny Bentley (R-Russell) falsely claimed Wednesday during a debate on an omnibus anti-abortion bill that RU-486, or Mifepristone, was developed during World War II and called Zyklon B, which the Nazis used to execute millions of Jews in gas chambers — and added “the person who developed (it) was a Jew,” reported the Courier-Journal.

    To his credit, Bentley offered an apology: “I meant absolutely no harm in my comments today and sincerely apologize for any they caused. Last week we received a heartbreakingly sad reminder that anti-Semitism still exists in our society and I apologize if my comments today caused similar pain or any doubt that I stand with the Jewish Community against hatred”. He didn’t that his comment was false, but all is fair in anti-abortion arguments.

    Zyklon B was a specially packaged version of the metabolic poison hydrogen cyanide gas. One look at the structure of mifepristone and one recognizes the steroid ring. Mifepristone is a progesterone receptor antagonist and WAS developed by famed endocrinologist E.E. Baulieu in France not Germany, but in the 1980s. Dr Baulieu’s parents WERE Jewish.
