    “In future cases, we should reconsider all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents,” Justice Clarence Thomas wrote, pointing to Griswold v. Connecticut (contraception), Lawrence (same-sex marriage), and Obergefell (same-sex marriage). “Because any substantive due process decision is ‘demonstrably erroneous,’ we have a duty to ‘correct the error’ established in those precedents.”

    Although it’s less likely that red state legislatures will try to eliminate contraception and same-sex marriage, it’s not out of the question. The six conservative Catholics on the Supreme will welcome cases challenging current rulings.

    It’s interesting that Justice Thomas did not include Loving v Virginia in his roster of 14th Amendment Equal Protection and Due Process Clause cases to be reviewed.

        Because Dowd thinks Justice Thomas is the black face of white racist jurisprudence. EVERYTHING is race and EVERYTHING is climate.

        He and all those like him are incapable of looking at Roe v. Wade as the bad, not FATAL decision that it was. It created a right which never existed in the Constitution and ignored the actual Federalism written into that same Constitution. I.E. bad law.

        There is nothing stopping the states from making all abortion legal. I guess the people who are always screaming about “our duh-mocracy” just can’t bear it when the people actually get to vote on something because they may vote “wrong”.

    Don’t forget to thank Hillary and RGB too. If they werent so commited to promoting progressive women, Rgb should have retired and obamo could have named her replacement. She was ready to go years before she died.
