Across the country, teachers and school staff struggle with inflation
Teachers and school employees nationwide are struggling to keep up with the cost of living.
Inflation and surging rent prices are pushing out teachers who can’t afford to live in where they work.
Shanika Whiten’s struggle starts before the sun is even up. She’s a single mom living in Los Angeles and battling debilitating multiple sclerosis, yet she’s still determined to get to work on time.
“There have been months where I would worry about, ‘Oh, am I going to be able to afford to pay rent this month,’” she said.
Whiten has worked for more than 20 years in special education for the L.A. school system.
But rising rents and a surge in the cost of living have nearly forced her out, along with other school employees.
“It’s sad to live the way we are because of inflation, and everything is going up except your paycheck,” Whiten said. “Your paycheck is not going up, so it’s like, ‘How am I going to continue to survive?’” Whiten said.
The core inflation can be blamed on China for releasing COVID-19. The Biden admin has done little to alleviate it. Their focus is on so many other things that really do not help citizens, does not look to reduce inflation. Many things have actually made it worse. But, teachers shouldn’t complain, because they voted for incompetence and a disinterested government.
What this most likely means is that teacher’s unions across the country are going to demand a big pay raise, even going so far as to strike for it. It’s easy to soak the private sector, right?
Inflation could cost your family an extra $11,500 this year
New estimates from NerdWallet project that, due to inflation, the average household would have to spend an extra $11,500 this year in order to maintain the same standard of living as previous years.
Elizabeth Renter from NerdWallet explained that groceries would cost around $100 more per month and utilities an extra $70 monthly.
In fairness, inflation is hitting around the world. Some are just doing better than others, and the U.S. under Brandon has not been doign well.
Interest payments on the national debt are already projected to be the fastest-growing part of the federal budget in the fiscal year 2022, according to the Congressional Budget Office. Payments are expected to triple from nearly $400 billion in the fiscal year 2022 to a stunning $1.2 trillion in 2032 – a total of $8.1 trillion over the next decade.
Raising interest rates will inflate the national debt causing more money to be printed to pay the debt.
This FED and this Government have no clue about how to fight the demise of the United States of America. This is not a Pushaw moment in our history.
Supply chain is in tatters. This is what is driving inflation and no amount of interest rate hikes will prevent inflation from continuing to soar until people simply cannot afford to buy anything causing a depression that will topple governments all over the world.

And that Something is SUPPLY CHAIN DISRUPTION. A constant battle to get what you need and want, no matter the rising costs. It will not end until the nations of the world resolve the supply chain issues instead of simply raising interest rates.

Of course, it is highly unlikely that China released the Covid. More likely they they negligently handled it and then maliciously allowed it to leave their own borders when they knew it was spreading.
As for inflation? I would have to say that although most people don’t know what causes Inflation, it is unfair to blame it all on Biden. Nothing can really be blamed on Biden, since he is senile and has been since before he was walked into the Oval Office. But Jeff has a valid point here. There are likely a lot of hands from both parties that stirred this pot. However, as unfair as it is, America has a long and honorable history of holding presidents accountable for things that happened while they were President. Brandon signed the needless $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill into law on top of the $2 trillion bill to supposedly fight Covid.
Simple economics tells you if you drop $3.2 trillion into the economy in less than 2 years inflation will go up.

I am afraid that China did intentionally infect the world. Fauci we’re weaponizing the COVID, to what purpose I have no idea but they were doing gain of function studies which are against our law and Fauci was using US dollars to fund the research. At that time, China was starting its fall into the economic hell that it will eventually sustain. And, just like that, several thousand Chinese workers home for the holidays for Chinese New Year got infected with a strange virus, were put on plans for Italy and Spain and the infection of the world started. What is odd is that Fauci was telling the media that Trump would face an unknown epidemic at least one year prior to its presentation. Trump saw the reports and correctly determined that the borders should be shut down. This was stopped by the usual Dem players, and any effort attempted was squashed. If you would review Chinese policy for WWII, it is apparent that Asians have no problem with bacterial warfare. So, most definitely China attacked us.

I find it highly unusual that you would continue to defend China. No one really is suggesting China purposely infected the world.
