- DeSantis? Good shot if he runs

- Nikki Haley? Maybe
- Josh Hawley? Maybe, but, really doesn’t have the name recognition outside inside politics
- Larry Hogan? Not likely, and a total GOP squish
- Asa Hutchinson? Does not have the visibility, but, possible
- Pence? MAGA will be against too much to gain traction
- Mike Pompeo? No chance
- Rubio? Maybe. He did just wipe out his Democrat opponent
- Tim Scott? Decent chance if he runs
- Francis Suarez? Who? Even most Republicans are unsure, no matter how good he is
- Chris Sununu? Too squishy
- Glenn Youngkin? I bet he doesn’t feel like jumping yet, and might not even come next year
Two which are missing are Texas Gov Greg Abbott and outgoing Arizona Gov Doug Ducey. Both could be big sleepers if they run. Ducey might not be super Conservative, but, he is reliable, well spoken, doesn’t back down, and appeals to Independents, squishy Republicans, squishy Democrats.
It will have to be someone able to withstand the tRump onslaught. tRump is a complete and total asshole and there are no depths to which he will not descend. The tRumpetista have no policy prescriptions and are attracted to tRump’s faux manliness and bluster. It makes them feel valued and important.
The ‘populist’ tRumpetista just want to put the elitest snob libs in their place. If that also shuts down the Blacks, gays, trans, women, Muslims and atheists, all the better.
The more likely a nuGOPher is to win the nomination, the less likely they are to win the general.
NuGOP primary voters tend to be bloodthirsty far-rightists who still crave trumpoids.
E.P.D. Such a primary may flush out the GOPe and help a 3rd party. The “Whigs” imploded and birthed the “Republicans”. Maybe it is again time for a change. After all, the GOPe has already sold out to the Democrats. Sounds like the process is underway. What is there to loose? With the GOPe in the cat-bird seat, there is nothing to loose.

The election wasn’t stolen. Not much else to discuss until you come to your senses.
Not only were the last two elections stolen but all the evidence of those steals is being ignored by the law and the courts as if it’s supposed to be this way. Our republic has been usurped by extreme left wing cabal and traitors like dowd are their foot soldiers pushing every idea and policy bad for America. They want us dead and they’ll do anything to accomplish that goal.

He still believes in man made global warming in spite of no evidence supporting that nonsense. He still promotes EV’s even as he knows our power grid cannot support it. Over at the topic, the list looks ok but I would suggest watching the organized media as to they attack the most viciously. They will try to clear the field for their Dem candidate. Trump and DeSantis are the obvious front runners with Noem for the bronze. Don’t know a lot about Ducey, probably an also-ran. I do know enough about our Gov. Abbot, a.k.a. Grabbit, polished fund raiser and position changer. Definitely a swamp creature, tries to play for media attention, etc. Knowing his vulnerability, the media would almost help him get nominated and then turn on him in the general. Remember John McCain?
