Almost every single poll shows that the citizens do not want men who pretend they’re women competing against biological women, and quite a few election results show that parents do not like the way schools are hiding what they’re doing from parents. Neither of these bills has a chance of passing the Democrat run Senate, as they will surely filibuster if Chuck Schumer even allows a vote
House Republicans Advance Bill Banning Males from Competing in Female Sports
House Republicans are advancing legislation which would prevent biological males from competing in female sports as well as ensure parental rights in education.
The Education and Workforce Committee this week advanced two bills — H.R. 5, the Parents Bill of Rights Act, as well as H.R.734 – Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023 — to the House floor. The first bill, H.R. 5, aims to “ensure the rights of parents are honored and protected in the Nation’s public schools.”
The bill itself, unveiled by Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and House Republicans earlier this month, lists several parental rights, including the right to review their child’s school curriculum; the right to “know if the State alters the State’s challenging State academic standards; the right to see a list of the books and other reading materials in the library of their child’s school; the right to see the school’s budget and expenditures; and more.
This shouldn’t even be controversial, and shouldn’t even be necessary, but, we’ve all seen the way many school systems and teachers have been acting over the past few years
The committee also advanced H.R.734 – Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023, which specifically amends the Education Amendments of 1972 “to provide that for purposes of determining compliance with title IX of such Act in athletics, sex shall be recognized based solely on a person’s reproductive biology and genetics at birth,” per the bill.
“It shall be a violation of subsection (a) for a recipient of Federal financial assistance who operates, sponsors, or facilitates athletic programs or activities to permit a person whose sex is male to participate in an athletic program or activity that is designated for women or girls,” the bill states, recognizing sex as strictly based on an individual’s reproductive biology and genetics at the time of birth.
Men should not be allowed to compete in women’s sports, taking away all the hard work women put in to compete, even causing them to lose scholarships. It demoralizes them. Nor should they be in the women’s locker rooms, bathrooms, and showers. It’s just incomprehensible to me why Democrats are so gun ho on erasing women, and why feminist groups haven’t worked harder to protect women.
Here’s a big question: do these bills belong at the federal level in our Federalist system? The one on trans surely does, as there is Title IX, and the Constitution is meant to protect citizens from this kind of abuse. Parental rights? Well, I might have said no, this is a state issue, but, since the federal government rather took over education, Congress has the ability to pass laws like this. It would be best done at the state level, though. That said, McCarthy knows neither will pass the Senate, and, even if they somehow made it, Biden would veto. They are meant to put Democrats on the record as opposing parental choice and protecting women.
Hey Teach any updates on the really big social issue of Target having gender neutral rest rooms?
Are you still refusing to go into that store?
There are currently about 200,000 women competing in collegiate sports.
About 50 are transgendered.
If these are classed by you as “genetically confused” you have an obsession with a microscopic problem.
Does it matter how few there are of them?
Will Thomas, a mentally ill male who competed for three years as a male swimmer for the University of Pennsylvania, decided that he was a woman, and was allowed to compete on Penn’s women’s swim team. At 6’3″ tall, and having gone through puberty, the still physically intact “Lia” Thomas, once ranted in the mid hundreds among male swimmers, became the #1 ranked women’s swimmer, and utterly destroyed the competition in the Zippy Invitational Meet in Akron, Ohio.
Mr Thomas learned a bit of a lesson, slowing his times, to start winning by much smaller margins, but still winning. He is the NCAA Women’s Champion in the 500 meter freestyle.
Here is the UPenn Women’s Swim Team, via Instagram. It isn’t difficult to pick out the one

Where are the libs with their “women’s rights”? They’re throwing women’s sports under the bus by not adhering to biological women. So Carbon boy, if LeBron James wore a dress to the stadium because he identified as a woman could he play on a woman’s pro basketball team? Why not?
“US Navy renamed two ships…”. Yes, John-and that will benefit us greatly in time of war. But the important question is-did Brandon also require that proper pronouns be used on those ships?
