School Feeds Kids Insects To Teach Them About Climate Crisis (scam)

Well, at least they didn’t do it with the teachers and kids dressed in drag, right?

Utah school gives kids ‘disgusting’ insects to eat in class for climate assignment on cows killing the Earth

A middle school in Utah’s Nebo School District gave sixth-grade students “disgusting” insects to eat last week as part of an English assignment on climate change, claiming it would save the environment from cows which were “killing the world,” according to a mom who spoke with Fox News Digital.

“Middle schoolers loved the ‘ewww’ factor, many of them gave bugs a try (and even a few staff members!). Many thanks to our English teachers for creating fun and engaging lessons,” the Spring Canyon Middle school said about the March 7 assignment.

Bugs were purchased from a commercial site that is “safe for consumption,” the district said.

The mother of one of the students – Amanda Wright – told Fox News she believed the kids were being subjected to “indoctrination” into a “dark climate change religion.” She challenged the school’s principal Alison Hansen on the assignment after her daughter found it uncomfortable.

The climate change assignment instructed sixth-graders to write an argumentative essay, but did not permit students to disagree. The only acceptable answer was that humans should eat insects for their protein instead of cows, which are destroying the Ozone layer with methane gas.

Is it any wonder that the kiddies are having mental health issues while being forcibly indoctrinated into the Belief that the world is doomed soon? This is child abuse. State sanctioned child abuse.

Why do public schools think that they can get away with this bovine feces without getting sued?

    • Professor Hale says:

Schools know that parents will complain, but in the end they will do nothing. School administrators and teachers will still get raises every year. Parents will still drop their kids off at the curb every morning. It’s not as if parents want to raise their own little sociopaths.

      • Dana says:

Sadly, you’re right, but it only takes one aggrieved parent to sue.

Remember the arguments of those who argued that just having the Pledge of Allegiance created peer pressure for all students, even those who objected, to participate? The same argument for eating bugs applies.

        • Ed Brault says:

It only took one or two threats to sue to drive prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance, and accurate American History out of the public schools. Why shouldn’t the ganders get a taste of the same sauce?

  2. Professor Hale says:

…many of them gave bugs a try (and even a few staff members!)

In other words, even the staff didn’t go along with the recommendations they were forcing onto the kids.

What do kids learn from being forced to eat bugs?
    1. Schools are bullies.
    2. Teachers can’t be trusted.
    3. Teachers are morons.
    4. They better make sure communists don’t ever gain power in the USA or they will have to eat bugs.
    5. Their parents are so bad after all.

And that was for an English class, not a science class or a food prep class, or an extra curricular activity.

The most recent analysis I read was that over 80% of insects sold as food were found to have parasites. Many potentially dangerous to humans. What percentage would you need to see before deciding that your offspring would not see bugs in their diet? Hmmmm?

As far as so called public schools eco-shaming the students into the consumption of likely harmful insects is concerned, I say go ahead. Today’s parents can simply add that to the ever-growing list of excellent reasons (as though the proliferation of extreme left school staff wasn’t plenty) to home school or private school their kids, continue to demand school choice and the portability of their school tax dollar. Those dollars should follow the child, period. To argue otherwise is to expose your true colors. Our children’s future or the almighty dollar.

The fanatical, screeching howls from leftist teachers and unions when confronted with the probable loss of lots of tax money (and the associated laundering of half of that back to the DNC) along with the utter failure of same to provide our children with anything other than indoctrination is all the evidence parents should need. Add the increasing prevalence of these purple haired, facial pierced, SJW “teachers” adding fuel to the fire is fine with me.

Having it right out in the open is better than watching them pretend that they are actual educators. We can all see for ourselves that educating is no longer their mission. Their job is to pump out a steady stream of far-left automatons, unable to think for themselves but just smart enough to burp out leftist trope on demand. Lookin’ at you, Greta.

After all, private corporations shouldn’t be the only ones facing possible (and increasingly likely) “Go woke, go broke” consequences.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

So, live (raw) insects have parasites?

Who’d a thunk it? The Europeans are even more particular than us Americans when it comes to food safety. Don’t eat raw bugs, worms and critters is always good advice.

Fortunately for We the People, raw chicken, raw milk, raw hamburger, raw fish, raw pork are perfectly safe protein sources with no bacteria or parasites to worry about.

Personally, I prefer not to eat insects, but the USDA and FDA certainly allow it in our cereal, canned goods and snack foods. In fact, every food has limits on rodent hair, insect parts and animal feces.

Golden raisins are allowed to contain 35 fruit fly eggs as well as 10 or more whole insects (or their equivalent heads and legs) for every 8 ounces.

For every 4 oz. can of mushrooms there can be an average of 20 or more maggots of any size.

Asparagus can contain 40 or more scary-looking but teensy thrips for every ¼ pound.

The authors conclude that more regulation (of course!) is needed. It’s always about control for these people.

Therefore, farms supplying edible insects have to be regularly monitored for parasites to guarantee the safety of food and feed sources. Amount of parasites is related to cause the human and animal diseases therefore in the future quantitative studies of parasite intensity in insect farms should be performed. In our opinion, the most reliable method of quantitative research would be Real-Time PCR method. Insect welfare standards and analytical methods should also be developed to minimize production losses and effectively eliminate pathogens from farms.

And in the reddest of states!!! Imagine what is happening in communist states like CA and CT!!!

It’s time for the GOP to take direct control of all public schools. We’ve reached the point where CCTV is needed for every classroom, gym, cafeteria and office, monitored by conservative Christians with instant feedback to the “teachers”. Very strict, decent rules need to be put in place so that all children are reared in a conservative, patriotic American atmosphere.

A big problem is that today’s teachers come out of communist colleges and universities and they teach what they’ve been taught. It’s past time for Conservative Christians to take direct control of American colleges and universities.

It’s clear that American voters can no longer be trusted to elect the right officials. It’s long past time for Conservative Christian CITIZENS (CCC) to rescue America before it’s too late.

At various schools -grooming and now insects. Teaching the important stuff!

  6. Ed Brault says:

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

The 1st Amendment is the basis for not forcing children to recite mandatory prayer in government-supported schools.

The Pledge of Allegiance is still recited in schools, but courts disallow forcing children to recite it.

Regarding ‘accurate’ American history – what on Earth are you referring to? Isn’t it the American right-wing that wants to censor history lessons in public schools?

It’s the right-wing insisting on ‘grooming’ children that the United States of America is perfect and simon pure, that Democracy is a scam and that the US government is not to be trusted.

      • drowningpuppies says:

        So sez Granpa Groomer himself.

Thanks Rimjob, for continually proving what a traitorous dumbfuck you really are.

  7. H says:

Conservatives would rather whine about schools rather than volunteer to teach

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

N.B. – Teaching, at least in public schools, requires a degree, and conservatives feel US education is actually communist indoctrination.

    • Jl says:

And liberals would rather shout down conservative speakers at college campuses than hear an opposing viewpoint. So fragile….

  8. Sua Sponte says:

Ozone Layer? Wow, have not heard that term used in decades. I thought it was the chemicals in aerosol products that was the issue, which is why government pushed for, no, forced companies to quit using them? Maybe they are back to recycling (hah) former scare words for the new generation.

    • Edward P. Dowd says:

Correct. Methane appears to be a minor contributor to ozone layer loss, although under harsh sunlight in the upper atmosphere chemical reactions between methane and halogenated compounds can form ozone destroying chemicals.

The real culprits are halogenated (Fl, Br, Cl) hydrocarbons.

And yes, international agreements banned these compounds.
