    Probably one of those intolerant right-wingers.

    When my son was 3 years old, his favorite shoes were pink with rainbow . He liked to play dress up and wear grandma’s hats. He asked for a barbie as a birthday present. I didn’t worry about it. I let him explore his childhood. You know what else I didn’t do?

    I didn’t hyperventilate and assume he was somehow born in the wrong body. I didn’t make him a mad science experiment. I didn’t pump him full of hormones, mutilate his tiny growing body, or parade him around for attention from pedophile gender fetishists.

    I didn’t permanently redirect the entire course of his natural life at an age he couldn’t possibly consent to such things. As a normal healthy parent I knew he was exploring new fascinating things with wonder and creative joy. He’s now in middle school and is every bit a healthy masculine boy. Because I didn’t force him to believe he wasn’t. And I didn’t have to coerce him into knowing he was. It is science. It is nature.

    We have become an entirely unserious country for allowing and encouraging abuse of our children in the name of tolerance.

    Marjorie Taylor Greene on the leaking of sensitive documents:

    While it may be premature to label Mr Teixeira an American hero, the government DOES keep too much from the American people. Yes, we’re a democratic republic, and NOT a direct democracy where We, The People make every decision. But our elected officials must be held accountable for their actions/ lack of actions! But again, it may be premature to label America as the enemy.

    It appears the 21 yr old Teixeira did not leak the materials because of concerns about the peoples’ right to know but rather to impress teenagers online. Yikes! The fact that a 21 yr old gamer in the Air Nat Guard can unravel foreign policy further exposes the government’s lax oversight of important documents and information. Sheesh people!

    Yes, it’s his crime, but it sounds as if he needs therapy more than prison. Those that enabled his crime need a stern letter in their HR file. Or termination. Of their jobs, not their lives.

      The appropriate sentence was set for PFC Bradley Manning, who sent a ton of classified material to WikiLeaks, and was sentenced to 35 years in prison. President Obama should never have commuted his sentence.
