    A couple of feel good stories for the day.

    Authorities say Namarcus Giles, Jr. was found dead in an apartment by officers responding to a shots fired call, and the man and woman inside the dwelling reported that Giles had broken down the front door to get inside.

    (State Representative Zooey) Zephyr had been prevented by Republicans from debating a bill that would ban gender-affirming care for minors after telling her colleagues that they would have ‘blood on their hands’ if it passed. Her silencing led to protests from her constituents, seven of whom were arrested Monday while protesting in the House chamber.

    Not a good look when police in riot gear with nightsticks shoved a group of protesting youth out of the gallery.

    The Republicuns then voted to toss Zephyr out of House deliberations for the remainder of 2023. And the Republicans call Dems authoritarians… In Montana, free speech is a right, unless you’re transgendered.

      Free speech is a right for everybody except where leftists ban or censor others. But nobody has a right to have what leftists call an insurrection in the house chamber.

    So Jack Teixeira, Marjorie Taylor-Greene’s ‘freedom fighter’ who leaked classified defense information and data turns out to be just another right-wing anti-America gun punk.

    “A search of the Defendant’s primary and secondary residences – that of his mother and father – also revealed the existence of a virtual arsenal of weapons, including bolt-action rifles, rifles, AR and AK-style weapons, and a bazooka,” prosecutors said.

    Teixeira also appeared fixated with mass killings, according to prosecutors:

    In November 2022, he said he would “kill a (expletive) ton of people” because it would be “culling the weak minded.”

    In February 2023, he told a social-media user he was tempted to convert a specific type of minivan into an “assassination van.”

    In February 2023, he sought advice from another social-media user for what type of rifle would operate easily from the back of an SUV. He described how he would shoot in a “crowded urban or suburban environment.”

    FBI Special Agent Luke Church said in a court filing Teixeira used his government computer in July 2022 to search the following terms: “Ruby Ridge,” “Las Vegas shooting,” “Mandalay Bay shooting,” “Buffalo tops shooting,” and “Uvalde.” The searches were unrelated to his job, according to Church.

    No red flags there, huh?
