The Repubicuns kicked Representative Jim Jordan (R-Oh) to the curb and voted to vote on Representative Steve Scalise (R-La) for Speaker. It may take a few rounds.
Representative Scalise once compared himself to David Duke (R-La) “without the baggage”. In 2002, he attended a white supremacist conference arranged by Mr Duke. Scalise also refuses to admit that Trump lost the election.
David Duke is a former Grand Wizard of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, denies the truth of the Holocaust and accuses Jews of controlling the media, the DNC, the financial system and universities/academia. Quite the role model for a US Speaker of the House.
I know, I know… some reactionaries will still insist that Trump won, the Holocaust was exaggerated, and that Jews DO control the media, the DNC, financial system and academia. Oh, and Black Americans receive special privileges at the expense of whites.
At least 9614 (over 500 children!) civilians have been killed by those Russian animals in Ukraine. Over 17,000 have been injured.
6 million Ukrainians have fled Ukraine for other European nations and 8 million of been internally displaced within Ukraine.
The Russian-Iran axis has really been up to mischief!! Fortunately for both countries the West continues to support them by buying BILLIONS of dollars of gas and oil.
