Biden makes case for more U.S. aid for Israel, Ukraine: “We can’t walk away”
Addressing the nation from the White House on Thursday night, President Biden made the case to the country and to Congress that the United States must pass $100 billion in supplemental funding, including billions in wartime aid for Israel and Ukraine.
The president’s address, only his second from the Oval Office, comes on the heels of a whirlwind trip to Israel, where he met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli President Isaac Herzog. In an impassioned speech, Mr. Biden said that America must again act as a “beacon to the world,” and insisted that the needs of the people of Israel and Ukraine are vital to the United States’ national security interests.
“I know these conflicts can seem far away, and it’s natural to ask, ‘Why does this matter to America?'” Mr. Biden said. “So let me share with you why making sure Israel and Ukraine succeed is vital for America’s national security. You know, history has taught us that when terrorists don’t pay a price for their terror, when dictators don’t pay a price for their aggression, they cause more chaos and death and more destruction. They keep going. And the cost and the threats to America and the world keep rising.”
Ukraine really doesn’t mean much. If it did, Obama, with Joe as VP, would have done something about Russia taking Crimea. Israel does matter.
A source familiar with the supplemental request said it includes $60 billion for Ukraine and replenishing U.S. stockpiles, $14 billion for Israel, $10 billion for humanitarian efforts, $14 billion for the U.S. border with Mexico and $7 billion for the Indo-Pacific region. The White House has not yet released details.
Still wanting to give huge amounts of money to Ukraine, a little for Israel, and, what does the Indo-Pacific region have to do with this? Bueller?
In his speech, Mr. Biden reaffirmed the United States’ intense commitment to Israel and the Israeli people, while stressing the humanity of Palestinians who simply want peace. He also strongly condemned any displays of hatred against Jews, Muslims or Palestinians here in the United States.
He did not do a bad job in defending Israel and Jews. He was forceful enough that his Progressive Comrades who hate Israel and Jews and support extremist Muslim terror groups will be incensed. But, he still had to yammer about Ukraine and “Islamophobia”, blah blah blah.

He did briefly mention how evil those Iranians were…you know, the largest state supporter of terrorism who are getting breaks on sanctions, lots of cash, and overtures by Biden.

We might have a few too many Islamist sympathizers in our State Department. The same one which designated Hamas as a terrorist group.
While Ukraine can’t win even with our aid, Israel can win without it.
Ukraine is fighting an invasion from Russia. Israel is fighting an attack from terrorists.
Russia has more personnel and equipment than does Hamas. Israel has had decades of military support from the US. It’s not surprising that American MAGA conservatives favor Russia over Ukraine since President Zelenskyy refused Trump’s overtures and Trump “befriended” the Russia’s Putin.
Is Mr Dana advocating that the US abandon support of Israel? Was President Brandon wrong to visit and pledge support?
Once again the sage from Kentucky it’s the nail on the head. The Ukrainians are currently losing a war that’s costing us billions. Although one thing that Biden has done for the Ukraine it’s made their major cities look like every other Democrat run city in America. They’re all bombed out. The price of leftism.

A couple of days ago XI of China sided fully with Russia. He said we are all on board with what Russia is doing in Ukraine. In addition, they are backing Hamas.
Chinese scholars retort that the 40 countries that abstained or backed Russia—among them China and India—account for most of the world’s population.
The new Axis of evil is Russia/China/Iran. Even Biden for the first time last night pointed towards Iran as being the supporter of terror in the region. However, Russia and China are funding Iran and performing a PROXY war against the USA just as the US is doing against Russia in Ukraine.
What goes around comes around.
Right now the US Army is facing a shortage of manpower. Experts say we cannot win a war. Period. We can fight one, but we cannot win one. Especially now that Russia/China/Iran are in bed together and haters of the USA.
Saudia Arabia the leader of the Muslim world is turning increasingly to China and Russia while Turkey, a Nato member, threatened the US Navy by sending its entire fleet into the Med and says that they will end Israel if the world does not.
The US’s strategic reserve is half-depleted. Your military is unable to fight a war for longer than 21 days due to the fact they have sent 100+ billion dollars to allies in arms and ammunition.
Currently, the small arms ammo plant, run by the US government, in Utah has been instructed to no longer sell Ammo to civilians….a predictor of how dire the arms shortage is for the USA.
In the meantime the EU is busy trying to figure out how to heat their homes and has no stomach for a proxy war with anyone. That’s America’s job.

As I said when the war in Ukraine first began. Those that will pay the price are the West and it’s allies and not Russia because Russia is now being propped up by China.

The latest polling on this shows a jump from 21 percent to 40 percent desiring a break up of Red and Blue states. The end is certainly closer rather than farther away. Put the clock to 1 minute to midnight as the USA in its current state cannot survive and is being driven from world power and dominance.
