You just need to mind your p’s and q’s, mister!
Six ways climate change is sexist (and what you can do to fight it)
When climate-fueled hurricanes hit coastlines, when unseasonable droughts kill crops, and when hundred-year floods surge through river valleys, it all makes the existing inequalities between men and women, boys and girls, that much worse.
In other words, climate change is sexist.
Over the next three weeks, leaders from around the world will be gathering in the United Arab Emirates in the lead-up to the COP28 climate conference, where they plan to “provide a comprehensive assessment of progress since adopting the Paris Agreement.”
While the laws are pretty good in the UAE for women, especially compared to other Muslim nations, in practice there is a lot of work to be done. Also, that their economy is primarily dependent on fossil fuels.
So, what are the 6?
- Gender-Based Violence and Climate Change (violence against women didn’t start till the use of fossil fuels)
- Climate change has a gendered impact on livelihoods (women never had issues with work before the Industrial Revolution)
- Climate-Induced Displacement (the weather never caused people to move before 1850)
- Unequal Representation in Climate Negotiations (wait, does this mean the climate cult is sexist?)
- Gender-Blind Climate Finance (isn’t it rather sexist to think that women can only survive with the helpful hand of government?)
- Lack of Gender-Responsive Climate Solutions (same as #5)
It’s crazy.

From the introduction of the article that our distinguished host didn’t quote:
What does this tell you? It tells us, tells you, that despite the oh-so-well-meaning liberal governments of the world, industrialized economies require energy, and that the pie-in-the-sky policies of the activists just don’t work.
Who knows, perhaps at some point in the future, technological developments will allow the use of non-fossil-fuel burning power plants to generate enough electricity for the modern world, but that day is not yet here. Perhaps at some point in the future, technological developments will make plug-in electric vehicles affordable and practical for everyone, but that day is not yet here.
In some major nations, emissions actually decreased while their GDPs increased! Granted, generally developed nations have more resources for cutting emissions while keeping their economy going. By necessity, developing nations depend on cheap but harmful sources.
The US and most Western European nations have cut emissions. Most of their GDPs continued to grow.
China is the elephant in the room with the world’s largest economy but also the world’s greatest emissions. China, India and the rest of Asia are now emitting over half the total CO2 emissions. Of course, that’s where over half the world’s population resides. And overall the atmospheric CO2 continues to increase with the temperature.
You mean like nuclear power?
I can’t see electric vehicles ever being practical. I can however see other forms of fuel becoming practical but not if the whole market is occupied with the EV fever therefore not permitting the exploration of other types of fuel. If the government is working strictly on electric and funding electric and subsidizing electric et cetera then there is no room for anybody else.
I can’t see electric vehicles ever being practical.
There are plenty of limited use cases where they are practical:
golf carts.
Transportation in small-well defined areas like parking lot shuttles
Urban area mail delivery trucks (also UPS and other local delivery vehicles).
School busses, only used a few hours each day and parked the rest of the time.
All the leftist activist groups want you to know they care about what the other leftist activist group agendas are too. All in the same club.
How many times can they jump the shark before the sheep wake up?
Saudi Arabia, Trump’s best friend and mega business partner, has historically had THE worst record on women’s rights.
Carbon boy-under Trump, Russia and Saudi Arabia were engaged in a production war that pushed the price of oil way down. Under Brandon, Russia and Saudi Arabia are cutting production to keep the price above $80 per barrel. Thanks, Brandon
Communist China, stupid bidens best friend and mega bribery and money laundering partner for his family, has historically had the world’s record on murdering its own people. In fact it seems stupid biden’s entire circle of friends communist China, North Korea, Ukraine, several Arab states are all guilty of mass murder and crimes against humanity. but they are the entire Biden crime families best friends for laundering and bribery.
Since you guys on the left H, align yourselves with Nazis Muslim murderers genocidal idiots any anti Americans you must take joy in the fact that the Palestinians are killing Jews in a fantastic rate. Have you taken down the Ukrainian flag at your house yet and put up the Arab flag?
You better hurry it’s almost time for you to decorate for Kwanzaa and you haven’t taken down your Ukrainian flag yet.
Wasn’t it Dumb Donnie and the Trump Crime Syndicate (including “daughter” Ivanka) who received favorable treatment from the Chinese? All those approved trademarks worth millions if not billions!!
We fully understand Ameri-Cons fear of evidence – so do you have evidence that various countries have bribed and laundered money for Biden?
Since you asked…

You’re welcome, chubby.
And that concerns us how?
Seriously, how is that any of our f(ornicating) business? Saudi Arabia is a major oil producer, and we want that oil to flow, to power a modern industrialized/ industrializing world, and only a true naïf would think that how the country structures women’s rights should matter to us.
Only the Western democracies have “women’s rights” in anything like the readers of this fine site would see them. Should we therefore ignore virtually all of Asia, Africa, and a good part of South America over this?

Every week batteries get better every week they get cheaper every week advances in recycling improve.
When Pepsi released its electronic logs from its 16 Tesla Semis it showed
Longest mileage in one day over 1070 miles. This was on regional runs. 3 hours charging in 24 hours usually done during mandated drivers out of service time.
The largest operational expense for class 8 trucks is fuel, electric power is much cheaper than diesel. Pepsi used Gen5 750v Superchargers.

As I have said before, I have no interest in anything you have to say on any topic.

“Every week batteries get better every week they get cheaper every week advances in recycling improve.”
And that is why the automanufacurers have slowed/stopped building plants.

Comer feels Fat Donnie won the election!
When Comer actually presents evidence for review, you may have something.
