DOJ Investigation Into Biden’s Handling of Classified Documents Ends With No Charges
The U.S. Justice Department won’t file charges against President Joe Biden over his handling of classified documents found in his private home and office, but an investigative report will be critical of his actions, a person familiar with the matter said Tuesday.
Special Counsel Robert Hur, who was appointed last year by Attorney General Merrick Garland to lead the Biden documents probe, has wrapped up the investigation, according to the person, who asked not to be identified disclosing non-public information. Findings in the investigation report could be released this week, the person said.
The development removes a major legal and political weight hanging over Biden as he runs for reelection. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump, who is the frontrunner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, is facing felony charges related to his retention of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
As we know, Biden had lots of classified documents in many places that were unsecured, including his garage next to his Vette. He pretty much had no authority to have them from his time as Vice President and Senator.
The decision not to charge Biden isn’t surprising because it involved seemingly innocent mishandling of classified papers that were uncovered and immediately handed over for investigation, according to Barbara McQuade, a former federal prosecutor.
“Trump’s case is completely different because of his willful refusal to return the documents,” McQuade said. “And the cover up.”
Except, Biden didn’t have the authority to have the documents at all. As someone who was in the Senate since 1973, and eight years as VP, he should have known. What’s the old say “ignorance of the law is no excuse”? He knew the law. He just didn’t care. If it was some low ranking federal bureaucrat or military member they’d be charged and prosecuted. We all knew that the investigation was going to end like this.
White House officials have argued the Biden case is different because the president’s staff turned over classified documents voluntarily when they were discovered and invited the search of his Delaware home. Biden conducted a voluntary interview with investigators in early October.
Except, that makes no difference. He unlawfully had the documents. That’s it. But, the fix was in.
It’s simple. If Mob Boss Fat Donnie had turned over the documents immediately He would not have been charged, even though, like President Biden, he had technically broken the law. Not all violations are charged. But, since He’s The Boss, Donnie doesn’t tolerate being told “no”.

He is entitled, legally, to all papers produced under his administration because he is ultimately responsible for that administration.

What many people who posted and are anti Trump, do not know their hiny from a hole in the deck when it comes to HANDLING Classified Material.
When in the USMC, I was in charge of unclass, classified, Secret, and TOP SECRET Material. The Top Secret dealt with Nuclear Armament.
I went through FORMAL training and was granted a TOP SECRET Background Final Clearance, HOW to handle and secure such documents.
The following Points:
1. The President of the US has FULL AUTHORITY to Declass any and ALL documents he chooses to do so.
2. When docs are declassified, they are entered in a ledger, which in this case they were.
3. All the courts have to do is check the ledger which is still in existence- thus no crime has been committed.
So your OPINIONS relating to if this was a crime or not cannot hold up to the scrutiny of the ledgers.
As for bolshevik biden, one must check the ledgers to see if those files have been declassed

It’s important to remember that Brandon’s “papers” in his garage do not date from his time as president and he therefore has no entitlement to them.
The same is true of Web Hubbell’s babymama, who likewise was not president when destroying all of those government records.
Trump was. Game over.
When the papers were found, Biden turned them over. Citizen Trump did not. There was no evidence that citizen Trump declassified any documents. Remember, often the cover-up is worse than the crime.
