Well, these declared sanctuary cities need to find a way to make it work. Perhaps they could force Democrat voters to take some in to their own homes?
Democrat City Raises Red Flag on Surging Migrant Population: ‘Out of Space’
Denver Mayor Mike Johnston is pulling the alarm on housing migrants, saying that shelters within city limits have run “out of space.”
On Monday, the largest city in Colorado began a multi-week process of discharging what has been described as the largest per-capita surge of migrants into one area in the entire United States. More than 120 migrant families were affected at the beginning of the week, the first of some 800 families consisting of upwards of 3,000 individuals being forced to find new refuge. Denver has spent more than $42 million already in addressing the crisis.
The city is also whining that other cities which are not declared sanctuary cities are refusing to help. Why should they? They didn’t ask for this. Sanctuary City Denver did.
Boston mayor says Roxbury migrant overflow site reaching capacity
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu said the overflow site for migrant families at a Roxbury recreation center is quickly reaching its 400-person capacity, two weeks after it was opened by the state.
Wu said most of the families who had been sleeping at Logan International Airport were brought in right away when the state-owned Melnea A. Cass Recreational Complex was converted into a safety-net site on Jan. 31, and now families from other temporary housing situations including a Revere hotel are being brought in.
Bummer. They voted for this. If you leave the milk out on the counter for too long and the whole house stinks, well, that’s on you. You fix it. You deal with it.
$2.4 Billion Is Not Enough for New York’s Migrant Crisis, Adams Says
With the migrant crisis continuing to roil New York City, Mayor Eric Adams appeared to score a win last month when the governor vowed to commit $2.4 billion — more than double last year’s proposal — to cover the costs of caring for the tens of thousands of people who have arrived in New York to seek refuge.
But on Tuesday, Mr. Adams said even that would not be enough.
Testifying at the State Capitol in Albany, the mayor told lawmakers that the state would need to pony up at least half the cost of caring for migrants to keep the city from making drastic budget cuts, a figure his team put at $4.6 billion.
Strange how supporters of unfettered illegal immigration always say that it not only costs nothing, but, illegals actually are a net monetary benefit.

The cities which did not declare themselves to be sanctuaries were doing something really radical like going along with what they believed to be the will of their constituents. Shocking, I know.
The entire idea of sanctuary cities making themselves outside the law of federal government means to me that they have declared secession. Which means they are in a state of civil war they should be treated accordingly. They are our enemy. They are the enemy of America because they are not one of the United states they are independent and not united. Their governor should be taken out and executed. As shoulder Lieutenant governors and attorney generals for plotting an insurrection against the United States of America. If middle class American old people can’t walk through the capital without being called traitors and insurrectionists neither can people who declare their independence and their sovereignty.
