It’s a very simple proposition: Islamic nations and groups need to stop attacking Israel. Don’t start none, won’t be none. Israel was literally attacked by Iran yesterday, and we’re getting
US works to prevent an escalation across the Mideast as Biden pushes Israel to show restraint
The United States on Sunday highlighted its role in helping Israel thwart Iran’s aerial attack as President Joe Biden convened leaders of the Group of Seven countries in an effort to prevent a wider regional escalation and coordinate a global rebuke of Tehran.
The U.S. assisted Israel in shooting down dozens of drones and missiles fired by Iran on Saturday in what was the first time it had launched a direct military assault on Israel. Israeli authorities said 99% of the inbound weapons were shot down without causing any significant damage.
U.S. officials said that despite the high interception rate, Iran’s intent was to “destroy and cause casualties” and that if successful, the strikes would have caused an “uncontrollable” escalation across the Mideast. U.S. officials said Biden told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in an effort to contain tensions, that Washington would not participate in any offensive action against Iran, and the president made “very clear” to Netanyahu “that we do have to think carefully and strategically” about risks of escalation.
The push to encourage Israel to show restraint mirrored ongoing American efforts to curtail Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza, which is now in its seventh month, and to do more to protect civilian lives in the territory.
How would Biden react if Iran parked a freighter 200 miles off the US coast and launched a barrage of missiles and drones at D.C. Or, say, his house at the beach? Think he would show restraint beyond sinking the ship? All this type of yammering does is incent Iran and the proxies to continue their attacks
UN chief urges ‘maximum restraint’ from Israel at emergency meeting after Iran’s attack
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Sunday warned members not to further escalate tensions with reprisals against Iran, while the U.S. warned the Security Council it would work to hold Tehran accountable at the U.N.
Guterres, speaking to a meeting of the U.N. Security Council, told member states that the U.N. charter bars the use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state as he also condemned Iran’s attack on Israel. (snip)
“The Middle East is on the brink. The people of the region are confronting a real danger of a devastating full-scale conflict. Now is the time to defuse and de-escalate,” Guterres told the meeting, which was called after Iran’s attack.
The time for saying this was before Iran attacked. But, we all know these people are haters of Israel and Jews, and placated the Islamic extremists, doing exactly as the Muslim Brotherhood playbook was meant to work
Israel must show restraint.
I fear Netanyahu won’t.— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) April 13, 2024
Why must Israel show restraint? Why not Iran and it’s proxies? This is like blaming the woman in the skirt and telling her to not go to the cops.
Did Iran or Hamas pay him to write this? https://t.co/XyvpUAsc1Z

Is WalMart now officially part of the eco-commie-climate “cult”?
The left will say that, “Oh, Israel, and the US, intercepted almost all of the Islamic attacks, so Israel has no need to strike back.” But we punish attempted murder in this country as well as murder; just because the shot missed you doesn’t mean that the shooter didn’t commit a crime.
Iran’s attack was meant to save face, as we noted prior to the attack, something the Israelis could intercept, but allow the Muslims to sort of say that they struck the last blow.
Should Mr Netanyahu nuke Tehran? 300 missile attacks overnight is certainly more serious than holding 53 hostages.
If Mr Netanyahu doesn’t nuke Tehran we’ll blame him for any and all Middle East kerfluffles for at least the next 45 years.
Fortunately, the missile attacks were almost entirely unsuccessful; it’s up to Israel whether to declare war on Iran. But I would absolutely support, if the Israelis have the capacity to do so, of a cruise missile attack which destroyed Iran’s nuclear weapons research facility.
Supposedly that facility is already hardened against a nuclear attack, so a ballistic missile or bomber attack wouldn’t necessarily work. But if the Israelis have anything like our cruise missile capabilities, which were once described as being able to fly through the men’s room window in the Kremlin, an attack on the entrances to that facility, even if it isn’t a nuclear attack, could be successful.
Why didn’t then-president Trump threaten Iran with nuclear annihilation if they didn’t knock off their nuclear development? If he had been forced by Iran to destroy Iran, the Middle East would be better now, wouldn’t it?
Have you noticed how other Muslim-Arab countries have supported Israel in this? Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait… even Syria!!
US and UK forces help shoot down Iranian drones over Jordan, Syria and Iraq
“
Maybe Mr Netanyahu should have relied on US and UK resources when Hamas murderers bicycled and paraglided into Israel. They can block drones and missiles but not paragliders?
Should the US have been involved in this? After all, Israel is perfectly “capable” of winning their wars in the Middle East. Why are we putting American personnel and materiel at risk? America First!! MAGA!!
Rimjob with his stupid rhetorical questions, copy&paste lies about the cowardly Brandon, and the obligatory cheap shots at Netanyahu and MAGA.
Typical Monday morning quarterbacking.
Or just another day ending in “y”.
Oh Donnie. And if you had been president China would not have attacked America with Covid!!
If you had been president Pfizer wouldn’t have forced millions of Americans to get vaccines!
If you had been president over a million Americans wouldn’t have died from “the flu”!
If you had been president that jihadi terrorist would not have killed eight in NYC in 2017; or that Saudi extremist wouldn’t have killed 3 US servicemembers in FL in 2019; or that Trump supporter wouldn’t have mailed IEDs to Dems and CNN in 2018; or the white christian supremacist attacks in Pittsburgh, El Paso, and Charlottesville would not have occurred.
If you had been president hundreds of rioters wouldn’t have stormed the Capitol on Jan 6 2021.
Trump was not in office for the other attacks on the Capitol: The Brits burned our Capitol in 1814. German Erich Muenter exploded dynamite in the Capitol in 1915 protesting America’s support of Britain in the War. The Weather Underground exploded a bomb in the Capitol in 1971. In 1983, the Armed Resistance Unit exploded a bomb in the Capitol to protest US military activities in Lebanon and Grenada.
Good job, Let’s Go Trumbo, good job.
Chicken Little Man
Why all the Trump questions???
Like it or not, Biden is President.
Your ignorance, no stupidity is shining today.
Rimjob, like all the good little Karens, must spend his entire day whining and bitching about anything real or imagined related to Trump along with ignoring the reality of Brandon’s failure as a real President.
It’s like Trump still runs the country or something.
