Canada pledges more visas for Gazans, says it’s ‘horrified’ by Israeli attack in Rafah
Canada said on Monday it will issue visas to 5,000 Gazans, more than it originally pledged, and said it was “horrified” by an Israeli airstrike in Rafah that triggered a blaze causing 45 deaths.
The visas for Canadians’ relatives living in the enclave represent a five-fold increase from the 1,000 temporary resident visas allotted under a special program that Canada announced in December.
“While movement out of Gaza is not currently possible, the situation may change at any time. With this cap increase, we will be ready to help more people as the situation evolves,” Immigration Minister Marc Miller said.
A spokesperson for Miller said 448 Gazans had been issued a temporary visa, including 254 under a policy not related to the special visa program, and 41 have arrived in Canada so far.
Temporary, eh? For how long? Will Canada ever make them leave? Or, just let them stay and bring their hardcore support of Hamas and other Islamic terrorist groups to Canadians? Infecting their cities and towns, getting themselves elected and forcing their Islamist beliefs on Canadians? Seriously, what could go wrong when 70% of Palestinians support Hamas? There’s a reason Arab nations won’t take them in.

I like how Reuters takes the word of Hamas, which is behind that “local health ministry”. Further, they forget to mention the rapes, tortures, and beheadings of civilians.
Canada is nothing more than a hobby country. They can have whatever policies they with knowing full well they have teh USA safety blanket next door. They can have unrestricted immigration since the only country that borders them is the USA. Immigrants will have to fly in at their own expense (keeps the peasants out). Then they know that most of those are only using Canada as a staging area to cross into the USA. They can have socialized medicine knowing that their wealthy people can get the good stuff right across the border.
Israel will certainly be happy to get rid of another 5,000 ‘Palestinians,’ but how happy will the good, noble, oh-so-diversity-supporting, lily-white Canadians be when 5,000 people, from a wholly different culture, get shipped into Montreal and Toronto and Ottawa, demanding free food and housing, and by the way, build us a mosque, with 16-year-old uncivilized boys responding to “Parles-tu français?” with “Aikhlae malabisuk alan ‘ayuha aleahirat albayda’u!”
I’ve met some very decent, very civilized Arabs, who seemed personally pleasant, at least as far as our time together is concerned. But the denizens of Gaza have not only been living in some squalor, but have grown up under an educational system run by Hamas, an educational system which pushed a harsh, demanding, extremely hateful version of Islam, and the Gazans have known little else. The Hamas ‘soldiers’ showed themselves fully capable of torture, rape, and murder of unarmed and innocent civilians, and the much larger ‘Palestinian’ ‘civilians’ around them cheered their great act of resistance. There are things that happen in war that revolt civilized people, but those things, done purposefully and deliberately, did not revolt the Arabs of Gaza.
Maybe 20 years ago. A lot of Canadians today have names like Patel, Sing, Lee, Nguyen, and Mohammed.

He has had to ask the Palestinian Authority for help in formulating a plan, but they have so far refused.
Isreal has lost at least 635 military killed so far
Proportionately to its size, that is the equivalent to the USA losing 25000. Other than almost completely destroying the civilian infrastructure, losing global support, and pissing off another generation of Palestinians, they have accomplished little.
Did anyone even bother to try and check the income of immigrants in Canada?
Or are you assuming that your “gut” feeling is correct?
