Did Mr Trump have his minions falsify business documents to hide the payments? Yes. At least 34 times; all misdemeanors.
Was Mr Trump motivated to do this to influence the 2016 election. Yes. Elevating the misdemeanors to felonies.
The jury appeared to understand this. They heard Mr Pecker, Hope Hicks, Michael Cohen, Stormy Daniels etc and believed them.
Mr. Trump is absolutely not guilty of the crimes charged because they couldn’t even decide ON the crimes charged.

The State of NY does not get to determine who the people in the US can vote for. We already went through that with Colorado and Maine and the ballot process. The NY Court is attempting to do the same thing. If they can’t remove him from the ballot they want him tarnished and unelectable.
Tell me how a federal law can be used by a state in a clearly partisan attack? This is reverse Federalism. The Feds, themselves, will not do what the new Confederate State of NY has done. Based on such Lawfare we would never had needed the war that was started in 1860, had a Confederate State done something similar. The Georgia (state), Jan 6 and stolen secret documents cases have been effectively delayed by the defense, The Supremes (part of the defense) and Judge Cannon (also part of defense). The Supremes can grant Trump absolute immunity and may do just that.

It was Trump who lost in 2020 and tried to overturn the election by pressuring states (GA, AZ, MI) to change their electoral votes.
