Why and how “income inequality” is misrepresented by the government.

He discusses the book’s finding that when calculating levels of “income inequality” between quintiles of the U.S. population, the Census Bureau is not including government benefits and programs paid to the bottom quintile of earners and is counting taxes paid by the higher earners as income.
