Can a devout Muslim child, who prays to Allah daily, honors his father and mother, doesn’t lie, cheat, steal, commit adultery or covet, go to Heaven?

I recall having this conversation around Holy Baptism at a Lutheran Church meeting years ago. A devout young couple is driving to their church for their little boy’s baptism. Their car is struck by another and their baby is dies in the collision. A woman in our group claimed only the baptized would go to heaven, so sadly this baby would be condemned to an eternity in Hell. The rules are the rules. I called the minister over and explained the quandary and he said mere humans cannot know what decision God would make. Can you imagine the horror in a devout young couple believing they had condemned their baby to eternal hellfire??

We had a joke way back when. A Baptist passed away and ended up in Heaven. All was beautiful, peaceful, kindness, smiles and gentleness. As he was being shown around there was a large door and he could hear what sounded like a party. He asked who was in there. “Don’t bother them, they’re the Catholics and they think they’re the only ones here”.
