That satire about 2025 is perfect. I too had never heard of it until the other day when Adolf dowd mentioned it here. I then of course had to go DuckDuckGo it find out what was going on. When I read it I laughed.
I also think that it’s funny that the Supreme Court of the United states just ruled on Roe V wade that the federal government has no control over abortion so of course the nuts over at heritage and of course one of their goose stepping brothers herr elwood had to immediately start crying that they’re gonna make all abortions illegal everywhere probably on the moon too.

One of the candidates is a convicted felon, including trying to influence an election!! One candidate has been adjudicated as a sexual batterer (owing 100 million!! One is not allowed to possess a firearm. One attempted to illegally overturn an election. He was close friends with a convicted child sexual abuser. He was a TV game show host for 15 years.

From Trump’s handlers at the Heritage Foundation: We will advance the Heartbeat Protection Act to prohibit abortion nationwide after the moment a heartbeat can be detected.
Some Dem/Libs say this is in Project 2025. It is NOT! That is a lie to frighten voters.
Currently, this stance is a bridge too far for Trump’s Project 2025 written in collaboration with Heritage.
After all, the far-right doesn’t care what happens at the state level regarding abortion. It’s for the people of each individual state to determine their abortion laws. Dobbs gave the far-right all they desired – revocation of the unConstitutional Roe v Wade!! It wasn’t about abortion, it was about protecting our Constitution!
That said, here’s what Trump actually proposes to tinker around the edges of the abortion issue at the federal level:
1. Revoking* FDA approval of the abortion pill mifepristone, which is used in about half of US abortions (“Abortion pills pose the single greatest threat to unborn children in a post-Roe world,” the document states).
2. Using an old law known as the Comstock Act to prosecute people who send abortion pills through the mail.
3. Ending the mandate for insurance to cover the “week-after” contraceptive pill ella® (which the document argues is a “potential abortifacient”).
4. Crack down on “abortion tourism” in liberal states by requiring states to report where women seeking abortions live and cutting federal funds if they refuse.

*Note that Trump’s Project 2025 proposes an expansion of presidential powers AND the firing of most higher level civil servants to be replaced with Trump partisans. For example, the professional infrastructure of the FDA would be discharged with political appointees taking their place.
