The Secret Service protects former Presidents and their spouses and children under 16. They protect major candidates and their spouses within 120 days of the election.
You may be correct about the folly of women being Secret Service agents. Or firefighters, cops, EMTs, FBI agents or military for that matter. Women are more likely to get hurt and take time off. There should be a glass ceiling just above Meter Maid. On the other hand the male SS agents didn’t do such a good job either, did they?
