What kind of economy would that be, Tom? Some of the Warmists are willing to admit that it is about Modern Socialism, with a domineering, controlling federal government, which will dictate every aspect of the economy, along with how you are forced to live your life. Actually I don’t remember anyone pushing that, but they should have, especially for the elderly, who if they were unvaccinated and caught Covid the death rate, at least in TN, was in the 30% range. Starting in mid march of ’21 the hospital admissions of the vaccinated plummeted.
So there never was a need for the shut down, or masks for children and no mandate which Biden tried and correctly got shot down by the courts.
That’s the issue. The focus should have been on the immune-compromised, the obese and the elderly. Instead, in typical Leftie fashion they pushed for 100% vaccination, got caught in lie after lie and lost all creditability. We will pay heavily the next time their actually is a need for 100% participation.
The smallpox vaccine was developed privately, tested, and it worked. No one objects to something that has been thoroughly tested and actually works.
“Drug safety”? The politically rushed nature of the COVID ‘vaccines’ shows that no one gave a rat’s ass about “drug safety,” because it was rushed to distribution, with some people mandated to take it, without any long-term studies on effects because long-term studies couldn’t be done before it was rushed to the public.

Climate change may be occurring, although that is debatable considering all the false information. But climate is not controlled by human activity and there is zero science in the carbon hysteria. These people are all about control and change for no reason.

J&J has been withdrawn because of bad side effects. Effectiveness, how well they work in the wide wide world, is estimated to be in the 85% range. That means 15% of those vaccinated are not protected. Here again that is no different than some other vaccines. Flu vaccines are well known to do this.
