The Supreme Court voted 5-4 Friday to reject a Biden administration emergency request to enforce portions of a new rule that includes protections from discrimination for transgender students under Title IX.
The request would have permitted biological men in women’s bathrooms, locker rooms and dorms in 10 states where there are state-level and local-level rules in place to prevent it.
The sweeping rule was issued in April and clarified that Title IX’s ban on “sex” discrimination in schools covers discrimination based on gender identity, sexual orientation and “pregnancy or related conditions.”
The rule took effect Aug. 1, and, for the first time, the law stated that discrimination based on sex includes conduct related to a person’s gender identity.
This is what the Leftard’s have been pushing for, for Lord knows what reason: the mentally ill who think they are women competing against women and taking their earned wins, their scholarships. Invading their safe spaces. Is it all for votes? This whole “dignity” thing is a bunch of mule fritters, otherwise they would be protecting real women.
The Court did not really strike down the rule, but simply did not accept the Biden-Emhoff Administration’s emergency appeal of lower court rulings. The rule could eventually be upheld when the Court hears the full case later.
Despite his consistent disrespect for women, Mr Dana IS correct that the FOX headline and Mr Teach are incorrect in their reportage.

Many conservatives have long objected to Title IX. A friend of mine from decades past, a high school and university teacher and basketball coach, was concerned that the support of girls’ basketball would reduce support for “real” (boys) b-ball.
The bathrooms BS is nonsense. A genuine issue is the involvement of trans-women in women’s sports. At and after puberty, males have physical advantages based on the effects of testosterone on organ systems – musculature, skeleton, heart/lungs, even the nervous system. Not all of the “advantages” disappear with withdrawing testosterone. A 7’1″ sophomore B-ball player doesn’t get shorter when testosterone is lost.
Men outperform women (based on world records) by some 10% in track and field activities. Curiously, women outperform men in ultra-marathon type events, e.g,, 100 mi and > road races!
