Harris to travel to US-Mexico border Friday
Vice President Harris will travel Friday to Douglas, Ariz., to visit the U.S.-Mexico border.
The Harris campaign announced the trip to the border, across from Agua Prieta, Mexico, on Wednesday.
Former President Trump criticized Harris for the planned trip earlier this week, saying she was only visiting the border for “political reasons.” The former president has sought to keep the border a hot-button issue for voters ahead of November, consistently bashing Harris and the Biden administration for their border policies.
After her trip Friday to the border in Arizona, Harris will travel to San Francisco to participate in a political event there Saturday. She will then campaign in Los Angeles and Nevada on Sunday as part of her West Coast swing.
How long do you think she will stay in Douglas? An hour, tops? Maybe 5 minutes viewing the wall? The rest in some restaurant that is decidedly Democrat leaning? Then off to fundraisers with rich folks who aren’t affected by the border crisis. Will she meet some MS13 and Tren de Aragua, wishing them well as they are given no scrutiny and sent on their way into the U.S.?
(NY Post) Former President Donald Trump mocked Kamala Harris’ planned visit to the border — just her second as vice president — arguing she’s had three years to solve the illegal migrant crisis.
“Why didn’t she fix it almost four years ago? She’s got no plans, got no talent, got no ability to do it,” the former president said Thursday during a press conference at Trump Tower.
She did fix it exactly as she and Biden wanted. Porous. Anyhow, will Americans actually believe this, or see it as more of a photo-op for a politician than acceptable, especially when she is a cause of the issue?

Some observations of note:
CACKLES only needs to win PA, MI, and WI, in addition to the other states that will heartily vote for a box of Roxx and Jeepers Creepers.

The ballot receptacles have been a bone of contention since their use exploded in the 2020 presidential election under the cover of Covid. Wisconsin counted more than 500 drop boxes in 430 communities in the closely contested election, with the heaviest concentration in major Democrat strongholds such as Milwaukee and Madison, according to AP.
Dropbox use was challenged, and in 2022, the conservative-led Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled that most drop boxes aren’t permissible under state law. The 4-3 ruling found that the law demands absentee ballots be delivered in person by the voter to their local clerk’s office.
That changed in July 2023, thanks to liberals taking control of the court for the first time in 15 years. While the law had not changed, the state Supreme Court’s majority interpretation had.
“The majority in this case overrules [the 2022 decision] not because it is legally erroneous, but because the majority finds it politically inconvenient,” Justice Rebecca G. Bradley wrote in a dissenting opinion. “The majority’s activism marks another triumph of political power over legal principle in this court.”
Lawfare everywhere.

Hell, Mitch McConnell might have a drop box set up in KYIV since he is the one who hugged his Ukrainian BRO and gave him a photo op, and sent him to a campaign rally for Harris.
Remember, despite 100 trillion people voting for Joe Biden in 2020, Trump only lost the election by about 44,000 votes because that was how close it was in MI, WI, AZ, GA, and PA.
And don’t get me started on the polls the week of the 2012 election, when 9 polls revealed that 3 had Obama up +1, 3 tied, and 3 had Romney up by +1. See, in a national election, the common wisdom by both sides is that a Democrat needs to be plus 3 in the national poll to win the electoral college. Obama eventually won by 3.7 percent. This is why I stated that Romney was leading going into the election. Certainly, there were a couple of polls that showed Obama with a +3 lead, but not the week prior to the election.
