Hmm: Majority Want All Illegal Aliens Deported

Well, this certainly isn’t a helper for Open Borders Kamala

NPR Poll: Mainstream Voters Favor Deporting ‘All’ Illegal Migrants by Six in Ten

Americans before illegalsAlmost two-thirds of registered voters agree that all illegal migrants should be deported, according to a Marist poll of 1,628 adults conducted for the pro-migration National Public Radio network.

The 59 percent mainstream voters who say “all … should be deported” includes 30 percent who “strongly agree” and 29 percent who “agree.” Only 14 percent — or one in seven people — “strongly disagree.”

The Marist poll for the left-wing NPR matches recent polls by YouGov and Harvard-Harris which show majority support for enforcing the nation’s existing laws that protect American strivers and families from employers who cheat by hiring cheap foreign labor.

The poll results show broad and mainstream support for deporting all illegals in many demographic groups. For example, “all” deportations are backed by 60 percent of whites, 53 percent of blacks, 57 percent of Latinos, 56 percent of people under 30, and 57 percent of people older than 60.

The question is, how many ordinary Americans will vote for the wackjob who essentially threw the borders open?

The ideological support for migration among U.S. college graduates is boosted by progressive education courses in universities and media-imposed civic pressure, especially via social media and entertainment channels. Many of those college graduate voters now disdain ordinary Americans — partly because they support Donald Trump — and cluster in the Democratic Party.

Their dominance in the Democratic Party ensures that only 32 percent of all Democrats favor deportations, while 29 percent “strongly” disagree, according to the poll.

It’s wonderful when illegals and migrants take the jobs of Democrats, eh?

In the same poll 81% thought abortion was an important issue. (p 20)

In a Gallup poll in 2023 over 2/3rds of Americans opposed the Dobbs decision.

The question is, how many ordinary Americans will vote for the wackjob who essentially banned abortion?

Regarding immigration, when will Congress get off their lazy asses and address it?

Proving the radical left has not only successfully brainwashed a majority of stupid Americans but they have also failed to teach the value of a Republic over a democracy. That 2/3rds is the reason smarter men than you created our Republic to respond to more than bullying majorities.

If American teachers had been teaching instead of being activists most Americans would understand the value of the 10th Amendment and the diversity it provides.

We know you radical leftists go crazy when anyone disagrees but forcing them to obey your desires is just dictatorship in another form. You seem to think that 2/3rds of something gives them the right to trample over the other 1/3rd. It doesn’t and it shouldn’t. America was set up to afford the maximum amount of freedom to the citizen. Even now our freedom of association has been nullified by the Civil Rights Act. Just to name one right we had which is now gone.

I’m beginning to understand that leftists think the farther mankind progresses the fewer freedoms we should have. One would think the opposite would be true.

        LGB,

Did you miss that the article was Teach and Breitbart crowing that 59% of American registered voters agree to deporting illegal immigrants?

Liberals believe that freedoms should apply to all.

It’s likely another hurricane will hit Tampa next week. Are you moving out of Tampa?

It appears my house is a total loss also my car and my two friends cars. All my personal items ruined as is all my furniture. My girlfriend and friend are staying with me at my fathers for now. I’m supposed to get an offer of settlement tomorrow or Tuesday from my insurance companies. It’s been a lovely last half of 2024 between my shattered ankle and subsequent work ending at least temporarily and then this shit. So I’m crippled, homeless and sans transportation. I am going to try and fix that before Christmas. I had a beautiful home and would like another in Tampa. I don’t want to move even though my parents are urging me to move back to Palm Beach.

I’m taking the ladies to Swifty’s at The Colony Hotel and supposed to meet my folks there at6:30. I figure that will be a good time to talk about it.

The sadly deluded Mr Dowd actually believes this:

Liberals believe that freedoms should apply to all.

In just the past two weeks, two former Secretaries of State and Democratic presidential nominees, John F Kerry and Hillary Clinton, made the news for saying that the government must regulate speech.

Hillary Clinton warns that allowing free speech on social media means ‘we lose control’
          Sunday, October 6, 2024

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Saturday that social media companies must moderate content on their platforms or else “we lose total control.”

Clinton told CNN host Michael Smerconish that while there have been some steps taken at the state level to regulate social media, she wants to see more done by the federal government to moderate content.

“We can look at the state of California, the state of New York, I think some other states have also taken action,” Clinton said.

“But we need national action, and sadly, our Congress has been dysfunctional when it comes to addressing these threats to our children,” she added.

Clinton said she believes the issue should be “at the top of every legislative political agenda” and called for the repealing of Section 230 of the Communications Act, which protects online platforms from being held liable for third-party content, such as user content on social media. This immunity applies to the content itself and the removal of content in certain circumstances.

The Democrats were not saying this stuff when Twitter was controlled by liberals, and the site banned ‘deadnaming’ and ‘misgendering’, kicked the 45th President of the United States off the platform, and a whole bunch of other things. It was only after Elon Musk, a (mostly) free speech advocate bought the platform, and, Heaven forfend!, conservatives weren’t muzzled that the Dems decided that Something Must Be Done.

Of course, even before Mr Musk bought Twitter, the Biden Administration wanted to create a Ministry of Truth “Disinformation Governance Board,” under the Department of Fatherland Homeland Security, and have it run by leftist activist Nina Jankowicz; fortunately, that was a step too far, and that one got torpedoed.

Liberals want laws forcing people to refer to the mentally ill by their preferred ‘pronouns’ and names, and New York City has a regulation which can fine businesses $250,000 if an employee ‘misgenders’ a customer. The intended result of that was to get sensible people fired.

Liberals put policies in place which required public employees to take an experimental, not-long-term-tested vaccine, or lose their jobs.

Liberals want to force normal people into accepting males participating in women’s sports.

Liberals have been pushing regulations which would force people to convert to electric ranges, water heaters, and heating systems when building new homes (2026 in New York) or replacing older gas units.

Liberals have been pushing regulations to stop the sale of new gasoline engine cars and trucks by 2035.

Liberals have been pushing laws which infringe on the right of the people to keep and bear arms.

Liberals have been pushing things like passenger rail, for which there has not been enough demand that any private company wants to invest in it, and closing selected city streets to automobile traffic. Somehow, they think American cities would all become Bavarian biergartens, teeming with well-to-do white urbanites.

Todays left are actually pro-choice on exactly one thing, prenatal infanticide. In everything else, they want more and more government controls.

          • Elwood P. Dowd says:

The stubbornly deldued Mr Dana believes in censoring speech that contradicts his religious beliefs, favoring laws that restrict drag queens, “indecent” books, gays, transgendered, abortions…

Is a free speech absolutist like the bizarre Elon Musk who is suing a a media company for telling the truth about his cash-hemorrhaging endeavor X?

Maybe free speech for the uber wealthy but not for all?

HIllary Clinton suggested looking at Section 230, saying it gives social media too much protection. She also suggested that children not have acccess to their cell phones at school.

Section 230 protects online platforms from liability for content created by third parties, such as users.

Section 230 protects platforms from liability if they remove or restrict content that they deem objectionable, as long as they act in good faith.

Section 230’s protections are not absolute. For example, if a platform creates content in whole or in part, it will not receive protection.

Section 230 does not prevent states from enforcing laws that are consistent with it.

The Department of Justice has identified areas for reform to Section 230, including: Incentivizing platforms to address illicit content, Clarifying federal enforcement capabilities, Promoting competition, and Promoting open discourse and transparency.

Fortunately, Mr Musk has single-handedly neutered X.

Should we examine Mr Trump’s ideas about free speech?

“WHEN I WIN, those people that CHEATED will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law, which will include long term prison sentences so that this Depravity of Justice does not happen again. Please beware, that this legal exposure extends to Lawyers, Political Operatives, Donors, Illegal Voters, & Corrupt Election Officials. Those involved in unscrupulous behavior will be sought out, caught, and prosecuted at levels, unfortunately, never seen before in our Country.”

Last week he said those that criticize his Supreme Court “should be jailed”, including women that criticize the revocation of Roe v Wade.

After Trump’s pathetic performance in the debate, he said: “I mean, to be honest, they’re a news organization. They have to be licensed to do it. They ought to take away their license for the way they did that.”

If (when) Trump wins he’ll have a yes-boy heading the FCC who’ll do whatever Don wants.

To me, the statements made by Trump (who’s likely to be President) are more dangerous than the powerless Clinton’s.

The far-right, who control the Supreme Court, half of Congress, the majority of state legislatures should legislate better.

    • Dana says:

Congress has addressed immigration! We have immigration laws in place, and if Congress refuses to change them, then Congress has expressed its will that the laws currently in place are what is wanted and needed.

  3. James Lewis says:

    Chicken Little Karen Man

Section 230 protects platforms from liability if they remove or restrict content that they deem objectionable, as long as they act in good faith.

The problem is in defining who “they” is.

  4. Jl says:

“Opposed the Dobbs decision..” I wonder how many of those polled knew that the Dobbs decision didn’t ban abortions, it just clarified that they weren’t a “right”. I would think the number could be substantial.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

      Jl,

What people realize is that in many states women have lost the right to bodily autonomy.

The situation will be resolved but not in a way the far-right will like.
