NY Times Has Wackiest Fact Check Regarding RFK, Jr And Fruit Loops

I’m not a big fan of RFK, Jr. He is, in fact, kind of a crank and into conspiracy theories. Still, now that he supports Trump and was nominated to be HHS Secretary the Credentialed Media has now decided to do silly hit pieces

It’s an interesting piece with the title “Kennedy’s Vow to Take On Big Food Could Alienate His New G.O.P. Allies

Boxes of brightly colored breakfast cereals, vivid orange Doritos and dazzling blue M&Ms may find themselves under attack in the new Trump administration.

In excoriating such grocery store staples and their mysterious ingredients, Robert F. Kennedy tapped into a zeitgeist of widening appeal for healthy foods to curb obesity and disease that helped propel President-elect Donald J. Trump to select him to oversee the country’s vast health agency.

“We are betraying our children by letting these industries poison them,” Mr. Kennedy said at a campaign rally on Nov. 2, to raucous applause.

Anyone else get the idea that this is a Bad Thing in NY Times World, simply because Trump supporting RFK, Jr. is saying it? A lot of the article is about “clean food”, without all the extra chemicals and dyes and such, leading to

Mr. Kennedy has singled out Froot Loops as an example of a product with too many ingredients. In an interview with MSNBC on Nov. 6, he questioned the overall ingredient count: “Why do we have Froot Loops in this country that have 18 or 19 ingredients and you go to Canada and it has two or three?” Mr. Kennedy asked.

He was wrong on the ingredient count, they are roughly the same. But the Canadian version does have natural colorings made from blueberries and carrots while the U.S. product contains red dye 40, yellow 5 and blue 1 as well as Butylated hydroxytoluene, or BHT, a lab-made chemical that is used “for freshness,” according to the ingredient label.

So, the Canadian version is much cleaner without all the chemicals, and we’re supposed to oppose RFK, Jr on this? This is full on Trump Derangement Syndrome

RFK Jr, Hegseth, Gaetz… horrible selections… reject them all

    RFK Je is plumb nuts.

    Hegseth is a rapist.

    Gaetz is a practicing ephebophile.

But what do you expect from President Musk?

Fascism is when the business sector and the government work together to oppress and control the citizenry.

    • L.G.Brandon!, L.G.Brandon! says:

You really gotta stop with the infantile name calling. You sound like a total idiot. Any non democommie even accused of fondling at age 7 to you is a rapist. Now you reach back into your quiver of insults and pull out a new one just for Gaetz.

Now tell us about the sex lives of Richard Levin, Sam Brinton, the dozens of democommies who participated in crap at Epstein’s island. We all know how fair you are (sarc). All the homos, perverts and thieves you guys had in the biden/harris cult one would think a smart assed snicker would be better than attracting attention to yourself.

The nasty never ends with you. We’d figure after the ass kicking you just got a little introspection and a calming period is about due. But no. You’re just gonna keep the democommie party doing the same belligerent crap that got you here. Good for you.

President-elect Trump confirmed Monday that he is planning to declare a national emergency and use the U.S. military to carry out mass deportations.

Actual President Biden should declare a national emergency to use the U.S. military to round up tRUMP and his lieutenants. He has the power. He has the immunity.

In fact, both versions of Froot Loops contain 27 ingredients, including ingredients that would put the cereal firmly in the category of “ultra-processed,” linked to obesity, diabetes and other metabolic diseases.

Compared to U.S. Regulations, Canada Regulations control the use of artificial colors, and private companies are forced by the government to use so-called ‘natural’ colorants and flavorings.

The ingredients in the two versions of the cereal do differ. For instance, the food flavorings and colorings used by U.S. Froot Loops include red 40, yellow 5, blue 1 and yellow 6.

Canadian Froot Loops are flavored with concentrated carrot juice, annatto turmeric, concentrated watermelon juice, concentrated blueberry juice, concentrated huito juice and stevia leaf extract.

There’s a reason they’re Froot Loops and not Fruit Loops. BTW, Huito juice?

Do you trust RFK Jr to determine what you’re allowed to eat? (The jokes tell themselves).

    • CarolAnn says:

OKAY big mouth who do you “trust to determine what you’re allowed to eat?” The correct answer is nobody in the government.

Suddenly our resident commie is against government regulation. You people are 100% liars.

Note the Secretary of Health and Human Services controls the 13 operating divisions of HHS, including: FDA, NIH, CDC, Medicare/Medicaid, the Public Health Service and others.

Kennedy claims fluoride is “associated with arthritis, bone fractures, bone cancer, IQ loss, neurodevelopmental disorders, and thyroid disease”. A toxicogist friend wrote/edited “The Dose Makes the Poison” which points out that well, the amount of a ‘poison’ determines the negabive effects.

Kennedy claims vaccines are neither safe nor effective.

    Kennecy claims vaccines cause autism.

Kennedy claims “Covid-19 is targeted to attack Caucasians and black people. The people who are most immune are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese.”

Kennedy claims ultraprocessed foods are responsible for obesity, cancers and mental diseases. He prefers bear, dog, whale and road-kill meats! In his defense, ultraprocessed foods are not best for humans.
