Reading the elder Mr Biden’s statement on the pardon of his son, it occurred to me that it could well be a template for Mr Trump’s pardon statement for the Capitol kerfufflers; there are really few words which would have to be changed.
I had actually thought that President Trump would pardon the younger Mr Biden after he pardoned the Capitol kerfufflers.
It occurred to me that, during their meeting a couple of weeks ago, our 45th, 46th, and 47th Presidents might have discussed an exchange of pardons, but the way this was done tells me that, if such pardons was discussed, it didn’t lead to any agreement.
Now I’m leaning toward First Lady Edith Wilson, oops, sorry, Dr Jill Biden, having pushed her demented and doddering husband to do this. After all, while Mrs Biden isn’t the younger Mr Biden’s birth mother, she reared him from infancy, and I assume loves him as only a mother can.
