Too Good To Check: Biden Regime Discusses Pre-Emptive Pardons For Certain People

Being the Biden regime this is probably happening. Whether they will do it, that’s the big question

Biden White House Is Discussing Preemptive Pardons for Those in Trump’s Crosshairs

President Joe Biden’s senior aides are conducting a vigorous internal debate over whether to issue preemptive pardons to a range of current and former public officials who could be targeted with President-elect Donald Trump’s return to the White House, according to senior Democrats familiar with the discussions.

Biden’s aides are deeply concerned about a range of current and former officials who could find themselves facing inquiries and even indictments, a sense of alarm which has only accelerated since Trump last weekend announced the appointment of Kash Patel to lead the FBI. Patel has publicly vowed to pursue Trump’s critics.

The White House officials, however, are carefully weighing the extraordinary step of handing out blanket pardons to those who’ve committed no crimes, both because it could suggest impropriety, only fueling Trump’s criticisms, and because those offered preemptive pardons may reject them.

If they’ve committed no crimes then why do they need pardons? Perhaps Democrats shouldn’t have tried the Lawfare scheme against Trump and others.

Those who could face exposure include such members of Congress’ Jan. 6 Committee as Sen.-elect Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming. Trump has previously said Cheney “should go to Jail along with the rest of the Unselect Committee!” Also mentioned by Biden’s aides for a pardon is Anthony Fauci, the former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who became a lightning rod for criticism from the right during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The West Wing deliberations have been organized by White House counsel Ed Siskel but include a range of other aides, including chief of staff Jeff Zients. The president himself, who was intensely focused on his son’s pardon, has not been brought into the broader pardon discussions yet, according to people familiar with the deliberations.

Hmm

Hunter can be compelled to answer questions for the time period covered in the pardon, from January 1, 2014 thru December 1, 2024. He cannot be prosecuted for crimes committed during that time period, so, if people want to put him on the stand he must answer. For people like Fauci, he would be required to answer any and all questions about COVID without the ability to take the 5th. Sure, he would be one of the main targets, but, we’d find out quite a bit about what he did and what others did. And, if he lies, well, that’s a criminal offense not covered by the pardon.

It would be tougher with Schiff, since he is still elected, but, Cheney is now a private citizen, and should be hauled up in front of Congress to answer questions. Republican prosecutors should haul her in to court to answer questions.

State Controlled Media (CNN and MSNBC) rating PLUMMET post-election. Fox News DOMINATES!

Hey, the Democrats should go right ahead! Not only were there few likely criminal charges against the Dems, even in the cases that there were, they’d drag on for years and years. Remember how President Trump was going to lock up Hillary Clinton? It never happened, and wasn’t even seriously pursued.

But the acceptance of a pardon is legally an admission of guilt!

A blanket does a couple of things. First, it clears the deck for more serious work for the Trump Administration, and that’s a good thing. More, the Democrats won’t be able to seriously whine — though many will anyway — when President Trump pardons the Capitol kerfufflers. Sadly, he can’t give them their time back, but at least any fines they paid will be reimbursed.

  3. Elwood P Dowd says:

That’s what I propose, as well! Pardon them all! Presidents have the power and now they have immunity!! Let Big Donnie and the DOGE-boyz get to the job of eliminating Veterans health care and Head Start (true!).

Mr Dana types: But the acceptance of a pardon is legally an admission of guilt!

Not exactly. And he knows it. Hunter Biden had already pleaded guilty to his crimes. But has he admitted guilt if Pam Biondi charges him with murder? That’s the beauty of these pre-emptive pardons. Don’t like it, pass an amendment.

And yes, the Coup Leader will pardon the coup-ers.

I like looking at the meaning of words. You do not.

“The pardon power of the president is based on Article II, Section 2, Clause 1 of the U.S. Constitution, which provides: The President … shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except in Cases of impeachment.”

      Pardon

      “noun
the action of forgiving or being forgiven for an error or offense.
“he obtained pardon for his sins”

How can someone be pardoned for something in the future that is unknown?

How can someone be pardoned for something in the past that is not known?

Even Jesus knew the sins of the Prostitute and gave her a pardon for her defined acts, concluding with, “go and sin no more.”

I hope this goes to the USSC.

    Speaking of the silly DOGE-boyz:

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/musk-ramaswamy-doge-500-billion-spending-where-they-will-cut/

25% of their ‘savings’ come from eliminating Health Care benefits for our Veterans!! Good luck spinning that one.

Head Start, Opioid treatment, PELL grants, NASA (Musk’s SPACE-X will take over), NOAA, NWS, FAA, infrastructure etc.

NASA is funded at $25 BILLION, of which much of that already goes to Musk.
    No conflicts there!!

Over 80% of government spending results from Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Defense, Veterans and Interest on the debt.

Good luck, boys! You gotta find ways to finance your own tax cuts. No conflicts there!!

    Thanks, Donnie.

Do you realize most of the crap you spew is nonsense? This is exactly how you’re going to lose the next election in another landslide. Beside, why are you so against saving our taxpayers money by cutting waste, fraud and
abuse? Are the democommies the ones doing the wasting, stealing and grifting?* I would figure a very brilliant commie like you would be very supportive of saving the proletariats money. That way you could piss it away mutilating and aborting more innocent American babies and children. That is after all the democommie main sacraments, right?

*Of course you are that’s why you guys are in a complete panic. Once the hearings start a lot of your hidden sins will see the light and that means prison for your traitorous heroes.

      • Elwood P Dowd says:

        LGB,

Au contraire, mon ami. Why are the MAGAnazis like you in a complete rage-panic? You won, be happy!! You guys have four years to kill and maim your enemies. As a Christian, how are you so filled with hate?

Do you really believe that Veterans Healthcare is a waste? Should we turn NASA over to Elon Musk? Head Start? The DOGE-boyz approach to the budget is with an axe and not a scalpel.

Recall that the Republican Congress, President Clinton and VP Gore (Reinventing Gov’t) balanced the yearly budget in the 90s, using a mix of tax increases and surgical spending cuts. They even started paying down the national debt (after Mr Reagan and Bush I tripled it!! tripled it!!). And the economy flourished. It seems to me that the Trumpists are more interested in attacking ‘the enemies from within’ than balancing the budget. The far-right doesn’t oppose excessive spending, they oppose spending on ‘certain people’. They will find out that that is not what the voters wanted.

Over the past few decades US Presidents have taken more and more executive power (i.e., become more like a monarch), and the Legislature and Judiciary have permitted it, if not encouraged it. Perhaps Americans actually want a King, who are immune to controls.

        • James Lewis says:

          Chickey Man (??)

A lie by oimission is still a lie..

(after Mr Reagan and Bush I tripled it!! tripled it!!).

          Uh, revenue doubled.

But the Democrat controlled Congress tripled spending.

    • James Lewis says:

      Chickey Man (??)

      Uh, they can’t cut ANYTHING.

      They can recommend.

      Big difference.

Look out! The sky is falling!

  5. Professor Hale says:

Foreign sources are reporting that US SEC STATE, Blinken, is telling Ukraine to lower their draft age to 18 to keep the war from collapsing before Trump gets into office.

Read that again. The American secretary of state, on behalf of the Biden/Harris/God-know-who administration lame duck government, is insisting that Ukraine throw its CHILDREN into the war to support to support the failed policies of the American administration. They will need to be on the front lines within weeks, so they will get no training. This is a war crime and a crime against humanity. This administration cannot leave office fast enough.

No doubt, Blinken will get a blanket pardon (if he doesn’t already have one in his home safe).

What is so important in Ukraine that the Biden/Harris/God-knows-who lame duck administration insists that the Ukraine sacrifice their young people in a hopelessly lost cause?

I wonder why the American press isn’t saying anything about this.

    • CarolAnn says:

I wonder why the American press isn’t saying anything about this.

Because as usual they are all in on it. So far 61,000 Dead White men in Ukraine. Who could ask for more?

      • Professor Hale says:

You missed a few decimal places. The true total is about 1,061,000 Ukrainians and another 1/2 million Russian dead.

      • Elwood P Dowd says:

Yep. Only AP, Reuters, US News, FOX, ABC, Al Jazeera, LA Times, etc have reported it!

Let’s not forget the Big Donnie’s friend, Vlad Putin is completely, totally and absolutely responsible for the Ukraine invasion. No one else.

Putin is responsible for the deaths of the Ukrainians, Russians and North Koreans. No one else.

The next president insists he can end Putin’s invasion on day 1. Why not now? Because a president-to-be does not have the authority to end all of America’s support for Ukraine as Trump intends. A president-to-be cannot end America’s role in NATO. We can only guess what co-president-to-be Musk and Putin ally, Gabbard (who have been in constant contact with Vlad), has promised Putin.

The Trump Doctrine: Let Russia be Russia.

        We’ll find out in January.

  6. david7134 says:

One thing they are not discussing is that once you receive a pardon, then you lose your ability to not testify. In other words, if you don’t give up information, you go to jail. If you give up information, it must be the truth or else, you go to jail. So, it might be a good thing to give out pardons.

  7. Elwood P Dowd says:

Biden should pardon Trump so that Big Donnie could no longer ‘plead the fifth’, which he has done hundreds of times.

Of course, as long as the government is the claspers (look it up) of the far-right, no MAGAnazi would ever be called to testify.

  9. Doom and Gloom says:

WHEN you have to pardon people in your administration preemtively then you know they understand they were breaking laws by the boat load in order to fuk America and Americans.

To say they need to pardon Faucci means they know he was chin deep in shit for 50 years doing the governments dirty work.

Not much more to be said than pardon everyone to avoid Discovery so the shredder trucks can continue their work until Jan 20th…….And probably long after as well. Once documents are requested……shredder trucks back up and a few days later they claim they can’t find those documents.

The Democrats should NEVER, Ever be in charge again. Seriously. Never.

    • david7134 says:

As much as we hate the pardons, the important part is that now these people must answer questions and answer them truthfully. They can not exercise the 5th. That means that all the peons who did their bidding can be identified and punished.
