Sorta Blogless Sunday Pinup

Happy Sunday! Another great day in the Once and Future Nation Of America. The Sun is shining, the birds are singing, and December is here. This pinup is by Vaughan Bass, with a wee bit of help.

It’s also fun because I have to do this on my much smaller Chromebook, since my regular laptop saw the WiFi module die. The computer itself has been having issues for about 9 months, mostly something wrong with software, so, ordered a new one last night, have to pick it up this afternoon. Funny, usually it is the hard drive that dies. Not this time. It’s harder to type on the smaller Chromebook, keep hitting the wrong buttons.

Big Donnie and Kashyap Patel, who wants to squash the FBI and rebuild it in Big Donnie’s image. Big Donnie must fire his own appointee Christopher Ray from his 10 year appointment.

    Hail Victory!

    • CarolAnn says:

So rather than give Trump’s appointees a chance you’d rather keep the corruption in power? You have such an open mind (sarc).

      • Elwood P Dowd says:

It depends on the appointee, of course.

Many of Trumps nominees pledge their allegiance to Trump instead of our Constitution.

Trump has made clear his devotion to retribution against his political opponents, i.e., “the enemies from within”.

Kashyap Patel has made clear that he’s on board with that. He has described that the Senators and Representatives who opposed Trump and the media who criticized Trump are fair game. He wants to close down the FBI headquarters and turn it into a “deep state museum”.

Since none have been sworn in yet and when they do it will be on the Holy Bible not The Art of the Deal your claim is silly and just a partisan scream for help. Are you planning on shaving your head, wearing a blue bracelet and moving to France too?

Trump has made clear his devotion to retribution against his political opponents, i.e., “the enemies from within”.

Trump has made it quite clear on several occasions he has no interest in “retribution”. He has stated such at least three times I’ve seen on TV/internet. Did you miss that or just ignoring the facts as usual?

The only part of your comment that is authentic is

He wants to close down the FBI headquarters and turn it into a “deep state museum”.

That, Patel actually sniped in an interview but you need to let us know your real age because only a six year old would believe everything somebody snarks out. Especially when said snarker is a politician.

    • Elwood P Dowd says:

Christopher A. Wray (not Ray, sorry) is the current FBI director, nominated by then-President Trump in 2017 and confirmed by the Senate (92-5) to a ten year term. Wray was nominated following Mr Trump’s firing of James Comey. Mr Wray had been Assistant Director of the DOJ Criminal Division during the George W. Bush administration. Wray is a registered Republican. Trump wanted to fire Wray in 2020 but Attorney General William Barr threatened to resign if Trump carried out his threat. Wray’s ‘crime’ was not supporting Trump’s claim that the Mueller investigation was a ‘witch hunt’.

In early 2004, the Justice Department issued a finding that the Bush administration’s warrantless domestic surveillance program under the Terrorist Surveillance Program (TSP) was unconstitutional. In 2006, it was revealed DoJ officials came under pressure from the White House to change this ruling, and that then-FBI Director Robert Mueller and Comey had prepared their resignations if the White House overruled it. In March 2005, Wray announced that he would resign from his post.

No doubt, Kashyap Patel and Trump will pursue investigations of Wray, Comey, Muelller and Barr and many, many others who didn’t kowtow to Trump.

Wray, Comey, Muelller and Barr and many, many others

I hope so if there is a reasonable evidence they have broken the law. You leftists and your projection are unreal. Just because you perpetrate immoral and unconstitutional lawfare on you opponents does in no way mean we will. Thinking like this helped get Trump elected. Keep it up and thank you very much.

        • david7134 says:

I think there is enough evidence of Wray being a bad guy with his invasion of Trumps home over ridiculous documents, especially with a declaration of shoot to kill. Yet he had no problem with Biden holding documents. The guy is corrupt.

          • Elwood P Dowd says:

Pure nonsense. Trump had ample opportunities to return the stolen documents without any repercussions. There was no shoot to kill order.

President Biden invited the authorities in and returned the documents.

        • Elwood P Dowd says:

Trump’s personal Supreme Court didn’t find evidence of unConstitutional lawfare against Trump.

Are you claiming Trump lied about retribution? What else has he lied about?

    • Kye says:

Maybe, but drinking bourbon may lengthen your dick by two inches. Hell, if lefties can make shit up so can I.

      • Elwood P Dowd says:

I can testify by personal experience that whiskey does NOT have that effect. In fact, short term it has the opposite effect.

Do you believe Mr sd is a ‘leftie’?

  3. Elwood P Dowd says:

First buddy Elon is whining about Australia banning X for those under 16. It’s all about the Benjamins.

    • Jl says:

Good catch, J! No doubt it’s not about free speech, which Elon has been fighting for, but rather money for an already multi-billionaire.
But one has to love the hypocrisy of the left-Bezos, Soros, Zuckerberg- good billionaires. Musk-bad billionaire. Brilliant!

      • Elwood P Dowd says:

        Jill,

Little Elon uses ‘free speech’ as a buzz word. LOL.

Do you believe that kids should have free speech to read whatever books they want?

        • Jl says:

“Buzz word”? Nice try. Are you feeling ok?
He believes in free speech enough to spend 44 billion. Funny-you said it was all about “the Benjamin’s” for him, but it took 44 billion out of his pocket. How does that work out?
“Do you believe kids have the right to read whatever books they want?”
Wrong analogy-X being a social media company, do you think it’s ok to ban those under 16 from accessing Facebook or Instagram or any of the others? Parents can do whatever they want they want, but this is the state doing it, and it wouldn’t be banning certain words or topics, but a total ban.
Feel free to offer evidence that it’s just a “buzz word” for him. LOL

          • Elwood P Dowd says:

Social media is harming children. Period. Much more than books about gay kids. Much more than drag queens. Even more than AR-15s!

In America we restrict the free speech rights of kids in school. You support restricting the books that children read.

Anyway, Elon Musk has said: By “free speech”, I simply mean that which matches the law.

At the request of India’s government Musk blocked a BBC documentary critical of PM Modi. X also suppressed Indian users’ access to more than 100 accounts belonging to prominent activists, journalists, and politicians.

The same was done in Turkey regarding President Erdogan.

Coincidentally, Tesla is exploring manufacturing in… India and Turkey.

Between October 2022 and April 2023, Twitter received 971 requests from governments and courts to suppress specific content and identify private information about anonymous accounts, according to Lumen data analyzed by Rest of World. It complied, to some degree, with 99 percent of those.

On the other hand Musk has permitted anti-semitic and Holocaust denial in Germany.

The intertwining of government with big business is a tenet of fascism. Musk, as a billionaire businessman, with 10s of billions of US gov’t contracts has obvious conflicts of interest. Musk can squelch the US initiative to enable high speed internet to rural America. Why would he oppose that??? Who knows, but coincidentally, Starlink, a subsidiary of SpaceX, wants to be THE supplier of satellite internet to rural areas. $599 to start + only $120/mo.

Yes, Elon’s concern is freedom of speech.

“Trump’s personal SC..” So 3 out 9 make it his personal SC? Is math that hard? And as said before, it’s the liberals that always vote in lockstep, not the conservative side.
